Best pastry I've had in my entire life! Crispy outside, buttery, flakey, and soft and gooey on the inside. Line moves fast and prices were reasonable. Coffee is also alright, nothing special

Hands down best pastries. We went on a Sunday so the line was long. Definitely worth the wait. Be aware though, that when busy they might run out of popular items. They were out of the morning buns. The almond chocolate croissant was decadent, dense, and rich. The almond chocolate croissant was my favorite. The regular chocolate croissant was fluffier and baked with more rise, but was just as delicious. Highly recommend carving time into your schedule to visit this place.

Some day this is the best french bakery in the city, I'm not going to dispute that! Croissants are to die for! Everything we had was perfect. We bought too much it was so good. The line may look intimidating, but it moves along. It's worth it!

Best croissants i have tasted so far. To owners please have another location in South Bay. Their croissants are super delicious, flaky, and always fresh. I have tried their Chocolate Almond, Blackberry, Ham& cheese. All were great and my favorite is Chocolate Almond.

Listen, comparing Arsicault’s croissants to boulangeries in Paris is insane. As a person who went to Paris a few months ago, I ll say Arisicault is good but it’s not even the best bakery in SF. The croissants had more of an overcooked flavor instead of the buttery taste I expected. The wait in line is 30 mins on the weekend’s at minimum. Not sure I ll wait again for their baked goods.

It’s really just croissant, you have to queue for long, nothing extra ordinary though. Still, baked fresh and thats what you get after a long queue.

The best of all croissants I have ever had. They stayed flaky and crispy even after half a day. Long line but moved fast and so worth it.

This is, like, my favorite bakery in the US, so far. Almost everything I got here tasted pretty top notch: the regular croissant, the almond croissant, the chocolate croissant, and the morning roll. Probably my favorite is the almond croissant, since that's my favorite pastry to get at bakeries. That morning roll, you can maybe get some better ones at other places in the city, but this one is still not bad. The croissant stuff is probably the best I've had in toys country, though. Whenever I'm in SF, I always try to make a trip here, and would recommend it for others.

Expect to wait a little bit, especially if you come at opening - 8am. However it is WELL worth the wait. First time I arrived at 8: 10 on a Thursday morning and waited 15 mins. Second time I arrived at 7: 40 on a Saturday morning and was third in line! All the croissants were amazing but the chocolate almond croissant was the best I’ve ever had - and I lived in France for a year!

You won’t find better croissants I promise you. Ham and cheese is my go to but they’re all phenomenal. Don’t let the line deter you! Worth the wait and moves quickly.

5 stars plus! When I spent a couple weeks in San Francisco I luckily discovered this wonderful bakery. Once I tried the croissant I was hooked. Usually I find croissants kind of boring with not much flavor etc. However not the case here! Light, perfectly baked, buttery deliciousness. San Francisco is a food lover’s paradise!

Visited this little shop during a quick visit to San Francisco. We had to park at the building that sat at the top of the hill and walk down.

The lines looked long but passed quickly. We ordered a ham and cheese croissant and the almond and chocolate croissant for the two of us to share. It was SO GOOD. The ham and cheese was definitely a favorite. The chocolate was very good but really big for how sweet it was. I would definitely eat here again. We enjoyed eating as we walked back to the car.

Very good savory pastries but I'm not sure the nail the sweet side of things. So, to start with the good, the croissant crust is incredible, maybe the best I've ever had in my entire life. It's so good that it actually elevates what you think a croissant can be! However, the chocolate croissant's level of sweetness, amount of chocolate, and texture doesn't work as well as a dessert for me. All of the ingredients are there for a great savory pastry but it just doesn't work as well as a dessert. Still, the savory pastries are very tasty so this is definitely worth a stop when you're in the area - recommended!

Aráicault Bakery is an absolute paradise for pastry lovers like me. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked goods. The croissants here are simply outstanding, with their delicate layers of flaky pastry and rich, buttery flavor. The chocolate almond croissant was a particular standout to me, with its generous filling and perfect balance of sweetness. I also ordered the kouign amann and chocolate chip cookie, both delicious. Although there is no seating, the wait is well worth it for the incredible pastries. This is a must-visit spot in San Francisco!

Ultimate TREAT YO SELF indulgence, especially the buttery Ham and Cheese or Chocolate Almond croissants. Avoid the long lines by coming on a weekday or after 1pm on the weekends.

I arrived around 8: 15 and stood in line for about 15 minutes.
If you go in one by one and place your order, the packaging team right next to you will put it right in, so you can pick it up right away when payment is complete, so I received it very quickly and warmly.

Overall, the texture of the croissant was good!
Crispy with a very full feeling?
I think I know why you line up to eat:)

The croissants with almond paste are full of sweetness, but I enjoyed it (but the almond taste isn't great, so even those who don't like almonds might enjoy it).
The almond + chocolate croissant is really sweet, so I recommend eating it with coffee.

Oh what a croissant! SOoo buttery with rich gooey chocolate, all wit a crispy sugary finish. Love! Price is pretty good for the size. I just wish they had more options to choose from, maybe some veggie ones.
