Artesa Vineyards & Winery, Napa CA

The place is gorgeous, but the service was mediocre and we could barely get the guy’s attention to explain the wines in the tasting. To be honest, despite this being in a beautiful building all of the wines tasted extremely mediocre. We really loved the aesthetic and the branding logo, but we couldn’t even find a souvenir we liked (because we couldn’t bring ourselves to drink more of the wine). Maybe hire a new winemaker to help improve the quality of the wine.

My boyfriend and I did the tapas and wine and it was so much fun! All of the wines we tasted were amazing and you could tell they were great quality. I was pretty tipsy by the end haha. I would for sure come back next time I’m in town, this was my favorite winery we went to. The staff was very nice and the tour was interesting and cool to see the behind the scenes of it all.

We visited on a Tuesday afternoon with our baby. No reservation. We sat outside on the terrace with our stroller though there was also space indoors for us as well. There is a handicap accessible entrance/elevator. We were happy to find a family-friendly tasting room. The views were out of this world. I recommend visiting just before sunset as you’ll see in the photos — it was gorgeous. The wine was enjoyable, but you’re really here for the view. $60 tasting fee waived with the purchase of 4 bottles.

We did the tour and tapas tasting. Keegan was very friendly and made the experience great. Definitely recommend!

Booked terrace tasting and didn’t notice us in advance the terrace was not opening that day and no one cares to explain until the check. The wine was mid. And obviously they do not know what “reservation” means, when you booked a reservation at a certain time, it means I have a seat on that time instead of waiting another 30 mins for it.

The views here are amazing. We did a tour Friday late afternoon. I wouldn’t recommend doing that time slot because the employees are gone at that point so no action. The wine pairing was a nice experience

Such a beautiful space with great wines and amazing views of the Carneros region. Try their bubbles and their Tempranillo. Delicious!

Artesa is certainly an experience, when we previously visited the service and wine were excellent.this time however, was a different story.

We arrived to the tasting room on a rainy, slow day where a few tables were sat, we asked the hostess if we were able to get a tasting for our party of 4. After standing in the doorway, we were eventually turned away for not having a reservation despite the fact that on the website they accept walk-ins, no alternatives offered, and there were about 10 people in the entire building in the middle of the day, etc. Well, we looked on the website and were able to make a reservation for 10 minutes later, after booking, they sat us.

We had a nice tasting with our server, but I personally found the lack of description around the varietals left much to be desired. At the end of our tasting, despite previously letting them know I was interested in purchasing a few bottles of wine, the bill was dropped and we were told we would need to speak with someone else, after awhile we spoke with a manager and I let them know that the experience was less than what I had come to expect of Artesa.

Frankly, the response was received as an inconvenience to her, it’s like they don’t want to make money? So weird. It’s unfortunate that the service is so poor when they have a good product.

You can go anywhere to get great wine in Napa. I’d recommend going elsewhere.

This vineyard is beautiful and different than most of the rest we saw. The staff was friendly and the wine was very delicious. This was the only vineyard we went to where we didn't learn much about the wines we were tasting, so if that is something that is important to you, I don't know that you will get much of that here.

We had the most wonderful time at this winery! That’s why we joined the wine club. Well the first box was to arrive within 2 weeks and we have yet to see it. They have no account of our order or us in the wine club. But we already paid almost $400! My friend has called and spoken to them and they told her to call back. Well they wont answer now! So bad bad reviews it is! And I’ll have my card stop payment! Aiden was our server…. Be careful at this place!

The view was great, but that was about it.
The customer service is terrible.
NO ONE is answering the phone calls.

We are a party of 7, but the max you can book online is 6 guests. So I called and left voicemail, I also emailed - but no one ever replied. Luckily they could accommodate us on-site. (This was the red flag - I should have known!)

We made a purchase when we were on-site. We weren't at the place when the package was delivered, so the package was returned to Artesa. I tried calling so many times in the past few weeks, but most of the time I reach the voice mail. I needed to select the "club member relationship" option to talk to someone and be connected to ANOTHER voicemail.

They kept saying that the manager Michael would give me a callback, but he never did. I spoke to Rachel, and she took all my info and said Michael would give me a callback, and he never did.

I've also emailed them - and no one has replied.

It has been over a month, and it is very frustrating.

Loved this winery experience! Beautiful scenic location with wonderful service & even better wines. We came to do the artisanal tasting experience, but ended up joining their wine club. This waived our tasting fee & is also a great deal since you receive 25% off any wines you purchase that day. Would definitely recommend visiting!

Great just to see, no need to get reservations, walk around outside, if want glass of wine can go to bar but reservations are tough and service slow

When looking for a winery in Napa, I found this majestic and unique place. The architecture is extremely pretty, staff is so friendly and what I love the most were the 5 wines we tried. This experience was one of my favorites at Napa Valley. I recommend you to book online your reservation before going, I did it through Tock and you dont need to pay until you do your whole wine experience
