Artists Palette reviews
15I was in Death Valley yesterday. It was an amazing. I went to Dante"s View, Zabriske Point, Artist Palette, Furnace Creek. Artist Pallet was truly amazing, the beautiful colors are breath taking. You just stand in deep awe, as you take in the panoramic View, a re.must see. Death Valley is one of my favorite places to visit. I am now planning my trip to Oatman Arizona.
Some will tell you that it is their favorite place in the park, for my part I was disappointed. No Wow effect. Perhaps I wasn't there at a time when the light highlighted the colors.
A point of view on a gradient of colors which can be fully appreciated with the rays of the setting sun.
Not as impressive so put on the end of the list. Go during the early day or late afternoon the light may make a difference.
One of the most unique drives in California. Be warned, though, most pictures online have been embellished under the best lighting conditions or digitally enhanced. It’s still spectacular, but don’t have unrealistic expectations of seeing LGBTQ flag colored mountains.
Beautiful one way loop off of Badwater Road. Amazing colors due to the different mineral content. The loop is about 8 to 9 miles ans takes about 30 minutes. Great detour.
A very nice spot on the Artist Drive. Worth visiting especially with clear skies to see the best contrasts of colors.
While beautiful at the right time of day, the easy road access made this area almost crowded even on a weekday with many visitors presenting for the photo op without respecting the natural theme of the area.
This place is absolutely beautiful. Not often that landscape looks exactly like it does in pictures, but this place is different. Somewhere I would definitely return back to
Very pretty drive especially on a Harley bagger.its not for everyone but on a bike its even better.
Wow, I thought I have to walk again under a heating sun or suffer rocking my self inside my car on a rough gravel road to see this place. But it was a smooth ride. A long ride then you’ll start to see the beautiful colored hills. The ride was awesome as it goes through to some cool rock formations. One way only so it’s safe. I find less tourist in Death Valley around noon time. But so hard to do anything because of the heat. It was 118° at that time. Last time was 125°. Enjoy and stay safe. Stay cool!
Beautiful colors. Be sure to do a little hiking from the viewpoint. Trails take you up into the canyons.
Artists Palette in Death Valley a beautiful drive about 9 miles on scone way paved road with pullouts along the way.
Definitely a great side drive. The canyon was gorgeous and I really love the changing colors. Such a great spot
Spectacular colours in the rocks here at Artists Palette. A good stop after you’ve visited the Badlands salt flats. There’s a small parking lot right next to it, it’s worth getting out and doing the short trail that takes you around the colourful rocks and sand. Visit in the spring when it’s cooler so you can enjoy the time without rushing.
