Chorizo con Papa Guisado had No Chorizo Flavor! Hardly Any Chorizo, tasted like potato and Beans only! Very pricey! The Bistec con Papa was good but very small, Not filling. The lady was nice

Asadero takes you back to your grandmothers/ moms kitchen! It is outstanding from the first bite i go for the breakfast tacos or sampler platter, cant go wrong ty Asadero Chikal for amazin food & taking me back to grandma's cooking once again

All I can say is they were not like the tacos in mexicali, the meat had a good taste but very tough, and the chunks were too big, will not be going there again

To be honest I'm picky when it comes to lunch trucks. Therefore, I walked by and notice they have an (A) and like everyone else before ordering, I checked out their Instagram page. I even asked recommendations from other people ordering. I was really hoping food was as delicious as in the pictures. I was not disappointed they are delicious I order three chikali tacos pastor, asada with flour and corn tortillas to be exact. The meat was actually "asada" grill and not hard the reheated type! What can I say I'm a picky mexican. The chikali tacos comes with pinto beans but they put a perfect amount not over powering the meat lol if you know what I mean (no offense king taco) and the guacamole was fresh it was green green! Not brown. Anyhow can't wait to go back by the way I stopped by on a Sunday.

Food was delicious first time there staff is friendly recommend to order your tacos Chikali style home made flour tortilla beans guacamole and meat tacos are big.

Amazing! A MUST EAT! I got vampiros tacos, quesatacos and a huge agua fresca and everything was incredible. Best salsa I’ve ever had too!

Wow! Wow! Delicious food and great customer service. We came from Palm Springs to try this delicious food. Totally recommend trying it!

1st, Food was cold and there's was only one person ahead of me at 1: 30 pm, so there should be no reason for that. 2nd, food was not up to par. I was so excited to go here because on Instagram they post pictures and videos of lines that are so long so I was expecting the food to be bomb but was ultimately I was dissatisfied and disappointed. 3rd, customer service was not great just like the food. I was standing looking at the menu and obviously I look like I never been here before. Cashier didn't try to make eye contact or tried to suggest anything or asked if we have any questions. Do better, I would NEVER recommend. Don't bother taking the trip to East Los for nothing.

The food is good I've been following them all over East L. A since they started they have quality meats and handmade Tortillas, makes you feel like your in Mexicali

Shredded beef (carne desebrada) are delicious. Beans are tasty in the tacos. Chorizo con huevo tacos need more huevo (egg). Bistec con papas (beef/potato) tacos are delicious but they have a kick to them. Jamon con huevo (ham/egg) are normal. Red salsa is really delicious! Green salsa is also very good. Tortillas are out of this world. Pricing is affordable.

Today was my first time experiencing Asadero Chikali. Normally I'm very picky and critical about eating anything from taco trucks. But man oh man, let me just say, the food here was better than I expected. Their meat quality was very good and tasty. I had the Vampiro de Al Pastor.and it was the best thing I've had in a long time. The Al Pastor was nicely marinated and very flavorful, the beans were savory and the guac sauce poured all on top was what brought it all together. And the tostada was crunchy and held its shape nicely! I could have eaten 3 of these in one sitting. I'll be back for more, that's for sure. Love this taco truck. Their guisados/breakfast tacos are delicious. Their guisado samplers are great too as well as their homemade tortillas. It can get crowded but definitely worth the wait

Amazing. The chicharron taco was out of this world. I also the chorizo & papa taco and the asada chikali style. Great flavors and all for $8. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot. The only regret is you did not try it sooner.

I was very excited to try these tacos. Unfortunately they are not what I expected. The meat itself has no taste, and is very chewy. I had chicken, asada, and al pastor tacos. The fresh water wasn't bad I got horchata and pepino. Overall I was very disappointed. Also, they are pricey don't get me wrong I am not being cheap.but they were not good. I will not be returning.

I adore this spot! They prepare marvelous meals, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that spot is an expert, I enjoy a lot eating all their food. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the attitude towards the clients is helpful. I frequently visit this place and I not even once was disappointed. Highly recommended.

Delicious I want to have a party just so they can cater it. I had the vampiro excuse the spelling if I got that wrong. Everything is made to order so hot hot hot. I'll go back for sure.
