So relaxing. The one thing I'd say needs improvement is that they need to add another cold plunge pool. That's more popular than they anticipated, I think. But it's a great place to unwind.

Unusual experience but enjoyable. The cold plunge is an experience that you don't soon forget.

Staff is very friendly, this place is amazing, so relaxing and a great price for self care. You should invest in yourself and check this place out.

Read review on why I took off a star.

My 2nd visit was a few days ago, 5/31. My husband booked this special surprise for me. He booked massage at the time they open, 10am. I got there a few minutes early, but decided to wait in car thinking doors opened right at 10am. I walked in at 10am. Long story short, by the time I got situated with my locker and walked to the back, massage got started at about 10: 10ish. Low and behold my 50 minute massage stopped at exactly 10: 50. I lost over 10 minutes. Although I understand they must respect next appointment and so forth, I let the front desk know that when they called to remind him of my appointment no one made him aware doors would be open prior to 10am and/or that I should be there 15 minutes early. Plus, it wasn't like I was late. I walked in at exactly 10am. I was taken aback a bit when one of the ladies at the front desk who was probably the manager on site said, well I'm sure he got an email and it says it to arrive 15 minutes early". I just wish they would have made it super clear doors open 945 not 10am. I also wish the front desk nice gal would have rushed me a bit and let me know to hurry into my massage since they stop exactly after 50 minutes of my appointment time. I don't know if that was her fault for not rushing me or she didn't know my therapist would stop at exactly 10: 50. So that's why I took 1 star off. The bathhouse facility itself is great! Love courtyard and annex pool!

Now for my massage experience, I would rate it 3 out of 5 1st time getting one here and probably be my last. It was not great, but it wasn't bad. It was decent, can't complain, it was a massage. Wasn't as relaxed at the end as I have been when I have received other professional massages.
I don't know, maybe those extra 10 minutes I lost would have made a difference?
My massage therapist was nice and made me feel comfortable and seem to have knowledge about anatomy, etc.

But overall, good spot for some quiet self care. Fee to use facilities for 2 hours is worth it!

Wow what a great experience. If you've never tried cold plunge, this is the place to do so. The ambience is quiet and peaceful. We did 3 circuits of warm pool, sauna, cold plunge. There's an outside lounge in the sun area that was perfect. The second warm pool had cold water buckets to splash over you. Highly recommend if you need a day to rest and recharge. We kept feeling relaxed and recharged.

Cool experience, but I literally got so sick from coming here. I guess I could've expected that with a shared steam room, but.overall gross experience. When I was in the pool people would NOT stop talking and no one asked them to. Not a super relaxing experience to be in a pool and hear a bunch of people talking about work. Fun in theory, not in practice.

The floors in the locker room were filthy as well. I dropped my shirt on the ground and it got covered in dark brown dirt-water, so I had to throw the shirt away. Again - its a bath house. But I did not have a clean or healthy experience here.

Love Asha! The space is clean and relaxing, and I like all the different pool and sauna options. I have yet to try a massage or the salt lounge.

The first time I came it was a much needed respite and revitalization… both me and my fiancé needed our muscles to relax as both our jobs are demanding on the body sometimes. The second time we were not so lucky, they don’t have any kind of training for the staff to be competent enough to handle emergency situations in case of anyone fainting. They had to rely on a nurse who happened to be a patron that day and the kindness of myself and another lady (that frazzled our nerves half to death to get a tall and big man) to get staff aware of what was going on and to get him water. They barely could get themselves collected enough to call the ambulance calmly. Not only were we not offered any coupon for another visit or something to smooth over the experience but still asked for gratuity but thanked profusely for my help. I was shocked … my first experience was nothing like this. I don’t know what’s going on with this business other than they are the only ones in town and therefore get overcrowded and overwhelmed easily. The front desk doesn’t provide tissues everywhere and getting them to provide something seems to feel like a big deal but in turn they still know to ask for tips. I’m a homecare provider and a CNA for over 10 years… trust when I say I understand serving people. But our profession still helping the health of others has NEVER been one to ask for gratuity. If a business wants to claim health advocacy why ask for gratuity? Especially when it’s not a coffee shop and should not be compared to one. ‍️

Really an unwind from work. Worth the money. Steam and sauna rooms are set to perfect temperatures. Enjoyed the experience on a weekend.

I went here with my daughter, as a Mother's Day present. It was a great experience! We went on a Tuesday evening, from 5: 00 to 7: 30. When we first checked in, it was very busy, but the process went smoothly. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The changing rooms, lockers, and bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained. The vibe was chill and fairly quiet. A few conversations were going on in the common areas, but nothing really above a whisper, for the most part.
The steam rooms were always full, but the sauna only had 2-4 ppl in it at any given time. The Essential Oil Sauna had a lovely Eucalyptus aroma! The Cold Water Buckets were amazingly refreshing! I was chicken, and didn't try the Cold Water Plunge.this time, but everyone who did said the water was freezing, but very stimulating and therapeutic!
The 2 Hot Water Pools were heavenly! The temperature was perfect.not too hot, but hot enough for tired, achy muscles to receive great relief. Although the Hot Pools could easily hold 15 - 20 ppl, we didn't see more than 10 ppl at a time.
The outdoor community area had a nice long deck where ppl would sit and sunbathe. They had several covered & uncovered spaces to sit and lounge, with a variety of furniture choices. Great decore.simple yet inviting. One incredible thing we noticed was none of the outdoor spaces had any insects, no flies, bees, or mosquitoes.which added to the overall enjoyment of that lovely space!
We will definitely be returning.often!

This was so incredibly relaxing, nice lounging spaces and incredible environment. Plenty of space and quiet so it feels like you’re in your own spa. Make sure to bring a towel and an open mind and you will be taken care of. Will definitely be returning <3

Had a good time overall. We booked a massage and a couple of hours in the baths. Got there at the start time of the massage, and the front ladies rushed us in. Which was great. But we never got reintroduced, so we found ourselves looking around for things afterward.

Overall, the experience was a good one. The saunas were my favorite part. The hot tubs were nice, too.

Definitely try the cold plunge! Why not! You are already there! I couldn't stay in for long but the numbness afterward was interesting!

I've been coming to Asha for quite a while now, but there is one thing has changed in the past year that I'm not a fan of.

When you go to check out, they ALWAYS ask for a tip.a tip for what? I understand asking if you did a massage or had a "service", but just the bathhouse? Come on. It makes me SO uncomfortable, and a lot of other have voiced this as well. It's such a turn off.

I suggest that asking for gratuity for those who just used the bathhouse be stopped. Would make everyone a lot more comfortable and not dread check out

This an amazing spot to relax. Let go of all the garbage that keeps you in a state of anxiety and agitation and just melt in the heat of the pools, sauna, or steam room. Get on that Wim Hof level by dunking in the cold plunge pool. The facility is very clean and the experience from checkin to checkout is effortless.

Make a reservation online ahead of time. Asha has become popular enough that walk-ins really can’t be guaranteed entry. Feel free to ask others to speak more quietly, especially if you are using a pool where the silent sign is up. Sometimes folks are in party mode, and they usually have a social pool for that.

Love that a place like this exists here in Sacramento! It's a bit busy, but the price is right. Only suggestion I have is to make the cold plunge bigger. Looks like it's a 4 person plunge, but the hand rails take up so much space that it only really allows for one person to be in there comfortably at a time. There ended up being a constant line to get in.

This is not for shy people. It is a community bath house. If you're not shy, this may be for you. The best $35 you can spend for 2 hours of self care. Various pools offering different temps from super hot to the polar plunge. There are two bath houses, and they stay pretty booked. Although the website directs you to call if they don't have available appointments online, they usually can't accommodate your request.
Great demographic location. Near lots of good eateries

Great place to unwind. I accidentally clicked no wheelchairs accessible, but they do have wheelchair accessible parking! Inclusive vibes. Brin your open spirit and unwind without your phone. It's great practice!

Me and my wife try to come once a month to relax and reset. A great way to treat yourself for a couple hours.
