Astro Burger, Montebello CA

Always came to this restaurant when I was growing up and liked to order the chorizo burrito until today 09-26-21. Although I hate leaving comments like this the restaurant did fall out after they had two new cooks who don’t know how to follow the recipe. The food was stone cold, my burrito had no cheese when it was supposed to have. Instead of giving me a new burrito with cheese and I gave them the whole burrito back they just gave me a bowl of cheese. I will never come back to this restaurant, if you have a better option choose that. I wish to give this restaurant a zero start but can’t. I found a better restaurant that is cheaper and has better food than this place.

Decided to walk down the street for a pickup order after a 10 hour shift. Only ordered a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. I figured this would come out to about 8 or 9 dollars, but ended up coming at $11.40. They raised the price of chili cheese fries from $4 to $6 and also raised the price on about everything else by about 20% to 25%. Keep in mind they still have the same portion sizes. Astros never had good service before this price hike and still doesn't. I'd much rather just walk the extra 2 blocks to go to Tamz next time I want a burger.

High prices for the food but a little sacrifice, on my end, to enjoy the great flavors like the avocado bacon cheeseburger

Everything is super greasy, but then again it is a fast food restaurant.also super pricy 2 burgers fries and 2 sodas was 32 dollars.

If you miss the Stars burgers from Cudahay on Otis st, then this is the place you need to visit! Everything tastes the same here and the inside looks about the same as well. Staff is super nice and food is quick. Only issue is that they only allow cash as payment, but they do have an atm inside. Excellent place, great service and will stop by again real soon!

Ordered hambergers and fries, went through the drive-thru which moved quickly. The food was very good and the fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside just the way i like them. I would go back but its alittle pricey. Big menu.

Sorry ASTRO burger but you guys missed the mark this time the burger was cooked very raw had to ask for another one to be cooked and the meat was paper thin how can you cook thin meat raw.

Good old mom and pop burger joint it has gotten a little bit pricey but that's because people decided to make minimum wage $15 an hour these are the repercussions

Not a attentive to their customer during lunch hour so make sure to buy your self enough time because once the front person orders. They don't take your order next they take about 3 to 5 min to get to you next so even if you see the line with 3 to 4 people. Be prepared to be waiting for about 30 min to order.besides that the burger was ok.

So expensive and GROSS! I got a bacon burrito & I had to take all the bacon out, it wasn't even cooked, very upsetting & it had nothing but egg! Who messes up a breakfast burrito? SHAME! Don't even deserve 1 star!

I love astroburgers. Its great food the staff are really cool and it never changes. Even during covid times its still a really good place to eat.

It okay the french fries were cold as they had been sitting out for awhile. We were giving a fresh order when told about the first order. There was so much lettuce. We had to take most of it out. I had to keep repecting myself because the person that took the order did not understand English & kept missing up with the order. I wasn't to happy with this visit I won't be going back soon.

My brother had a hair in his burger, tried to get our meal replaced and they said they'd only replace his burger. The cook look like he was tweaking mad.

Tonight we shared a pastrami meal. The pastrami was great. Very lean. Fries were perfect. Great customer service. Visit them.

I use to love Astros a lot more. The hamburgers are always good, but the fries are never right anymore. They are either burned and old, or soggy. I threw them away a few times already. And when you try ti explain to the staff about the fries they give attitude and get them wrong anyway. Disappointing

Had a great bacon and egg breakfast sandwich! The fries are a mix of McDonald's and your burger stand fries. Not so thin but not so thick. Good food!

I went here with my daughter for the first time. Staff was so welcoming. And the food was soooo delicious. I had the chicken brest strip plate. It was big with fries onion rings bread and salad my daughter had the cheese burger. I will definitely go again. And i love the decor.

I know this place is probably good, but be careful, Cops from Montebello PD and East LA Sheriffs are always there eating.

Astro burger has the best Grilled chicken salad. It has a good amount of chicken and the salad is always fresh. I am a wimpy and would always prefer a burger but if your looking for a good grilled chicken salad Astro's is the best
