Ate8 Noodle House reviews
14If if ever you are on your way up to Las Vegas from interstate 5 or coming back from Las Vegas highly recommend you stop to get some Asian food you will not and I repeat will not be disappointed. If you like a big variety of different soups noodle soups be ef shrimp or chicken this is your place. Highly recommended
Braised beef noodle bowl is what I had, get it every time passing thru there.its awesome.super rich beef flavor, with boc choy and cilantro. Really good.
This was quite surprising! The food is simple but very tasty. My favorite was the braised beef soup. I'll definitely be back!
Very friendly and professional when explaining the menu and helped me by recommending me a very delicious dish based on my preferences. Thai tea was delicious
Your gonna have to either go to LA or leave the country to find ramen better than this. Love this place.
My family ate there on our way back to LA from Death Valley. Not sure what the one star ratings were about but according to our experience this time and given the location, we all thought the food was excellent; I love the pork chop rice especially. It’s more like a fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter and pick up your food when it’s ready. We’ll definitely come back if we ever need to stop by Barstow again. If you enjoy authentic Taiwanese/Chinese food and are passing by, this is the place for you. I think maybe even better than some if not many of the Chinese restaurants down in SoCal.
And yes, the restaurant closes at 8pm. You can call and order take out if you can arrive between 7: 45-8: 00pm.
Very good food, fast and ots of fun, has fun snacks and drinks and has Boba tea too
Great price and people working are super nice, next time I'm in town I will come back here to eat
We were on our way to Vegas when we decided to stop at Barstow for super late lunch. I was surprised to find a Taiwanese place in the area. Since we were craving Chinese food, we decided to eat there. The restaurant is big with lots of tables and it was clean. We ordered & paid our food at the cashier. After about 10 mins, they called us to get our food. The price was a bit pricier than the usual Taiwanese place.
- Deep fried pork chop with rice: pork chop was crispy but some pieces were overcooked. My hubby didn’t finished it since it was too tough. But the flavor was good though
- Wonton noodle soup: ok. It was a decent noodle soup. The noodle was cooked well. The wonton was lack of flavor but they gave quite a bit of wonton pieces. The soup was kinda blah.
We're craving for a Chinese food in a while now then found this place that was accessible for us trucker. They have 10% discount for trucker to. Food was ok. I'll be honest they need to improve the broth of the Ramen. They should also remove the ground beef from the rice, make it plain or fried garlic and green onion. Stop using a frozen dumplings also. I give then 4star because of the food that imported that I miss and she give us a great customer service. Bathroom was clean.
What a nice find for the drive back and forth to Las Vegas! The flavor isn't so greasy and salty like in some places. It's perfect for those traveling with kids with noodles, rice, dumpling, wonton, and soup. There is a high chair, changing table, clean table, and multiple stall restrooms. The food is worth the value. The beverages and snacks here is a wide variety cross multiple cultures. I'll definitely return here!
My husband and I stopped to have something to eat while traveling from CA on our way home before it got too late. I wanted to have Asian wonton soup and thought you really can’t go wrong with soup, but they did. Broth was tasteless, tiny wontons with negligible filling and massive amount of noodles. My husband’s chicken fried plate was even sadder; he said the rice was the best part. Not worth it. I regret not going with his choice of In & Out burger, half the cost and satisfying meal.
An oasis of authentic food run by locals amidst a place surrounded by classic junk food chains. Delicious, affordable, and you can find many imported asian goods such as Japanese tea or mochis.
This place is awesome! A ton of snacks, drinks, and treat! Also great ramen and pot stickers. Definitely recommend if your in the area stoping by.
Staff was friendly, it was clean, they have a lot of over seas snacks and drinks (if truckers want to try something new.) They give you a 10% discount if you show your cdl, for veterans, and police. It’s also not too expensive, and the food was decent. Will definitely stop by here more often, specially if you park at the flying j it’s right across the street.
