Best damn tuna sandwich anywhere! Love the place just sad that they’re not open more often.

The owner was a very kind. The server was thoughtful and kind as well. I had a chicken dish, which I am blanking on the name of right now, but it was chicken on green noodles and with a delicious sauce. The other three people I was with had the moussaka and they all said they loved it. Two of the people I was with go get on a regular basis, so the staff knew them and could have been friendlier to us in general because if that. However, they were kind and sweet people from the interactions I had with them.

We went in and found a greek band playing and guests dancing to enhance the pleasure of our meal.

Service was spot on and the wine and appetizers we had were excellent in taste as well as value.

How disappointing I really wanted to support this establishment. I am from that region Greece was the neighboring country to me so I had a lot of exposure to the culture and food. My husband and I skipped lunch so we were really hungry at dinner time so we ate but I was shocked at how soggy and salty and overcook and mushy our food was. The waiter brought our wine and food checked on us at the end of the dinner and brought our check.i It was our first time there. We did notice that the staff and the hostess did talk and sit and chat with other patrons so I guess you have to be a regular. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

I used to eat at Athens Market Taverna, though we always referred to it "Mary's" when my office was across the street. We took a walk around gaslamp to see all the changes since we moved away. Much has changed, however "Mary's" is the same friendly place with excellent food just as I remember. Gustavo seated is at prime window table and we enjoyed our meal and people watching! Thank you Mary and the staff!

Elegant and hip for a Greek Restaurant. I had the Greek Salad with Gyro meat.oh boy. The size of that dish. So big and yummy!

I really enjoyed my gyro at this Greek restaurant, and the lemony soup was delicious as well. They had good bread, and weren't too greasy overall.

Authentic Greek cuisine. I walked into the kitchen and I was impressed with the cleanliness. Good service, friendly staff. Great atmosphere.

We had Greek salads that were very fresh and light - not heavy with dressing or herbs. I had the Lemon Chicken that was just perfect. I will return!

I tried their gyro plate. As a Mediterranean myself I'm difficult to be satisfied when it's Mediterranean cuisine but everything was right here

Food was delicious! Great plating, and wonderful service staff. Mary, the owner, can often be found conversing with patrons. Always a great time here.

Excellent food. Great service. Parking difficult. Prices on the high side but worth it. Friendly atmosphere. Good wine and drinks. Great desserts.
