A delightful comic book store. The staff was knowledgeable and super friendly. Such a wide variety of comics too. One of my favorite comic shopping experiences.

Wonderful little comic store in downtown Santa Cruz. They have quite a varied selection and it all looked very well organized; I probably should've spent more time looking around, but I came for one particular thing.

I'm a big fan of The Lost Boys and came down looking for the replica comic. I will forewarn those who come after me: you must request the replica at the counter. If you just go in and look at the shelves, you won't find it, so you gotta ask. However, the people running this store are fun and friendly. The owner came out and talked to me about his experiences with the Lost Boys crew, and some of his life afterwards. We had a nice chat and I'm happy I was able to support his business.

If you like comics of any kind, or The Lost Boys, you should absolutely stop here!

Free comic book day was so much fun! There were Imperial Storm Troopers out front for photos with families and kids. They had a whole walk full of free comic books and let me take one of each. AND the customer service person actually knew an obscure comic book that I've been looking for.

The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable about all things comics, and they're always happy to help you find what you're looking for. Whether you're a seasoned collector or a first-time reader, they'll take the time to chat with you and offer their expert recommendations.

And even if you're not looking to buy anything, it's worth stopping by just to soak up the atmosphere. The store is decorated with all sorts of cool comic book memorabilia, from vintage posters to action figures, but it's not overwhelming. It's clear that the owners and staff are true fans, and care about what they are doing.

Overall, I can't recommend Atlantis Fantasyworld enough. It's a true gem in the world of comics, and the friendly, knowledgeable staff only make it that much better. So if you're in the area, be sure to swing by and check it out.

It's Santa Cruz's friendly local comic shop. If you're in downtown Santa Cruz and you enjoy comics or other nerdy hobbies, this is the place for you. The owners old school in best way and all the employees are friendly and just plain awesome. See you folks next Wednesday!
