Atria - Grass Valley reviews
8Working at Atria has been amazing. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Everyone is caring and truly cares about the residents.
After a year and a half of employment at Atria Grass Valley, I am extremely grateful to be apart of a team that is genuine in their compassion and concern for the care of others.
I would not only recommend Atria Grass Valley for employment, but also to family and friends who are looking into assisted living communities in the Grass Valley area. The quality of Atria is peerless.
As a nurse, I have many options as to where I can work, yet I chose to come to Atria every day.
I was very discouraged in my career thinking I would not ever be able to find a facility or community, (be it skilled nursing or assisted living), that was ethical and where I could feel safe to ‘hang’ my license.
I was thrilled to discover that Atria Grass Valley proved to be the community environment I had been craving and in search of for two decades.
Additionally, I was blown away by Atria as a company; in no way was I ever prepared to be so impressed by a company on a corporate level. I was flown the the Support Center (corporate) in Kentucky, twice, and both times learned so much about what goes on at Atria behind the scenes; I was please to discover that a higher standard does exist as does the support and expectation to achieve it.
I believe in the company as well as my community and hope to continue to keep coming back day after day and well into the future.
Atria Grass Valley's staff is outstanding! Our 100-year old father (who has enjoyed living at Atria for 12 years!) just had cataract surgery. The care given to him was not only top-notch, everyone was truly nurturing and made sure his needs were met with heartfelt caring. Thank you to all at Atria!
It has been my honor to work at Atria Grass Valley. Everyday, I have the opportunity to serve our residents and family members alongside our amazing staff. You truly feel the love and sense of community the moment you step inside the lobby.
The entire staff is friendly and caring, It is heartwarming to see the way they
assist and comfort those needing help. I am presently in the independent
living area but someday may need help and certainly will stay here. A special note
of appreciation to Lois Bevan the engage life director for the many activities and
programs she has set up.
I have worked at this community for over 6 years and truly enjoy it. As you walk in the door you will feel the positive energy and notice the vibrant staff and residents. We have a lot of fun here, and thanks to the entire team working together to make things happen and the residents who keep us laughing and on our toes impact us on a daily basis! Atria Grass Valley is the place to be!
My wife and I have a delightful, independent living apartment that enjoys solar exposure on three sides, plus a view of the neighboring hills.
We especially appreciate the efforts of Lois, our Engage Life Director, who has encouraged us to participate in the community's activities. On occasion, she has allowed us to substitute for entertainers/leaders, when they were unavailable. This has given extra significance to our life, plus a sense of usefulness.
We have lived here for three years, and look forward to many more.
