Howard fixed my broken Luxman turntable, that worked, but had a few issues with the automatics. He knows what he’s doing, and I got the turntable back working perfectly. He’s busy, so repairs may take a while. But, IMHO, it’s worth the wait. Cheers!

I've had Howard bring back to life an amplifier and receiver both built in the 70's so they quality made and his care and professional care and attitude make him the only person I will allow to touch my unit's. He shipped my receiver from California to Kansas and it got here in perfect condition.

Wow! Howard is the best. I’ve been to the older location when I was in highschool when I first got my turn table and I needed the needle balanced. This place left a last impression on me because of how kind Howard is! I needed the right person to get my TEAC x1000R Reel to Reel repaired. After calling a few audio repair shops and not feeling comfortable with their response towards my repair needs, I called Audio Specialist. I spoke to Howard and explained my repair needs, he was very professional and quite knowledgable when it came to what I needed repaired. I brought my RTR to his shop and for a minute I though I was back in the 70s he had all kinds of beautiful audio equipment in his shop and that's when I knew I was in the right place. I could tell that he was good because it looked like he had enough work to keep him busy for years. Howard took his time explaining the repair process and that is important because if you want you equipment repaired right it is imperative that you be (patient). I did have to wait several months to get my RTR back but Howard kept me up to date through the entire process. When I did get my RTR home and set it up, it sounded wonderful and well worth the wait. Howard is old school and his work is excellent so if you want your equipment repaired right, take it to Audio Specialist!

You can tell when someone is knowledgeable about their business and cares about quality workmanship, customer service and won’t BS you. Howard fits this description. Highly recommend!

Howard was amazing to me! He treated my vintage techniques turntable as if it were his own. He even offered to loan me a turntable if I was Jonesing for my vinyl. He did a perfect job of completely refurbishing my 40 year old Techniques turntable as if it were brand new! It sounds absolutely incredible.
