I’ve been renting gear from Auntie M for the past 10 years and they always deliver on time with fully working gear

I am a touring sound engineer, I have dealt with a lot of backline companies all over the country. I now live in LA, and have a house gig, and I see Auntie M rentals come in often.

Auntie M is so much better than SIR and VER. With those 2. Their quality on rentals varies so much from city to city, and even in LA I have been burned a couple times with broken / nearly broken stuff being sent out, parts missing, them claiming they didn't get stuff back (then finding it), etc.

Auntie M is a different story.

For example, I recently worked with an RF IEM rack from Auntie M.all transmitters and receivers arrived sync'd, channels labeled digitally, all settings matching, fresh batteries inside, new board tape on the receiver packs ready to be labeled. More than enough snakes. BNC jacks color coded with tape so I didn't even have to think to hook up all the RF combiner racks. Plenty of extra / backup everything. Of course onsite frequency scans are always good, but if I didn't have time, good to know that I could have it up and running super fast. Usually my experience is that I have to go in each unit (or use WW) and reset all settings, because they are fresh off the last gig or they just don't match for whatever reason.

When bands roll through a venue I work at, the touring crew and musicians comment on how rare it is for a backline company to send out an order with 0 mistakes and prestine gear with guitar amps / drums / hardware etc.

You'll or never (or rarely) see a missing quarter inch speaker cable, a burned out music stand light, a road case with a broken castor, a missing IEC cable, old firmware, a loose music stand. These are things that I deal with often from touring through the US with local rentals, but I have NEVER seen a single problem with any Auntie M order ever. Even the way cords are wrapped tend to be great.

Their attention to detail is unmatched and the team that packs/preps the gear deserves special recognition.
