We've been using these guys for years at Evolve Custom Automotive Restoration, to rebuild our steering boxes, generators, alternators, starters. They're full-service, fast, and very reasonable on cost.

As a classic car owner I tend to keep my car as original as possible, so when my alternator had a issue I took it to be repaired. Due to poor communication (on their behalf) and ultimately the inability to repair the original unit I was without my ride for over a week and in the end paid triple for the replacement part they gave me! How? You may ask! I paid 150 for the original to be repaired, the unit didn’t get repaired properly and I had to return it and gave them another chance to fix it.something broke and now Couldn’t be repaired. They finally call and say they found one to replace it and yes it is an exact match (an issue I had after attempts to purchase and install several before ever even going to AES)! I pick it up and from the stickers still on it I can identify it coming from orielly. Where the part cost 55$. They tried to sell me story about it coming out of their warehouse and yadda yadda. Waste of a lot of my time and money

Very knowledgable staff! I have brought several alternators and steering gear boxes for rebuild here over the years and have never been disappointed. Prices are very fair.

Where do I begin came here based on a referral. I was having some problems with my alternator.it was starting to go out.car was still running fine just did not want to end up getting stranded somewhere with the current rainy weather when it decided to die. Wenr into AES at about 10 a.m. Was told it be ready by 1 pm in the afternoon I showed up at 2pm for them to tell me to take 30 more minutes about 1 and 1/2 hours later they came out and told me it would not be ready until the end of the day. At this point I'm upsst with the time they had wasted. When I came to pick it up around 5. Mark was apologetic and gave me $20 back. Went home put the alternator in and this is where my 2-day wild goose chase began. I did not want to believe this alternator which looked brand new and was told was rebuilt and just tested to be fine was the problem after wasting a day on other tests. I finally removed the alternator and took it to the store where they tested on the bench and told me it was bad. I purchase a remanufactured alternator from the auto parts store for about $20 more than what I paid here. I returned home, put in my car and it ran perfectly fine. All problems immediately gone. I would avoid this place like the plague do not waste your time or money here. The small amount of money I saved was completely negated by the amount of time I wasted. Ultimately I took a complete $ loss on the rebuild I had AES do.

Exchanged a bad alternator and was given a bad alternator, admitted fault but offered no remedy. Owner had the nerve to sound irritated. Thumbs down!
