Autoworks, Redding CA

I drive a modified Subaru WRX and needed a shop to put in an aftermarket limited slip differential by Cusco. The guys at Autoworks are hands down the best Subaru Specialists in the area. They ordered the parts for me, and had the car back together in a day.

Drove down from Washington and check engine light came on. These guys were able to diagnose the problem and fit me in that day to get the issue resolved. While waiting, I witnessed interactions between other customers and workers here and I can definitely say they do their best to take care of whatever you need. Highly recommend!

OMG! WHERE IS THE 10 option? This shop deserves a 20! Andy and his crew, excel in customer service and knowledge. George you fixed my Honda and explained everything that was wrong, communicated with me above and beyond. My family and business has officially dropped the other shops that were doing our services, the only shop to go to in Redding is AutoWorks. From oil changes, timing belts, tune ups, brakes, to if it rolls on wheels, don't hesitate. Thanks again Andy for all you guys did.

We had our Nissan serviced, but I decided against having the repairs we were told there, we took it to autoworks, they fixed it for less than the dealership, but more importantly they found that the bushings were totally worn causing unnatural movement in the wheel under load- a safety issue. One the other guys didn’t find. They’re nice, but autoworks is efficient, in-depth, AND nice! Thanks for the great work guys, we appreciate you!

I honestly will not take my lexus anywhere else. This shop fixed a problem the Lexus dealer charged a fortune for and never solved. What's more is they did it for two hours labor. The owner is fair, honest, and really good at what he does.

Don’t let the location fool you! We have worked with this shop for the past 3 years and have brought in all of our vehicles. Good rates but most importantly, good quality work. They stay BUSY due to their popular word of mouth. We were referred to this shop by a Toyota enthusiast who had high praise for this shop. If you have questions stop by first thing in the morning or at end of day. They are great at listening to your concerns and performance observations. We have done everything to major repairs to annual maintenance and are extremely happy. They will not try to upsell you and are straight forward with their quotes.
Our new civic had some heavy issues and it runs better than ever. Our 4Runner hit over 250k and runs great. Again, this shop stays busy so be fair with their time.

If you're in trouble far from home, looking at reviews to see which auto shop will treat you right, Autoworks is your place. I broke down and limped into town at 3PM July 3rd and the shop was busy as can be. Knowing I was far from home, Andy and his crew managed to throw my car in the bay and figured out my issue real quick. The car was toast, but Andy was patient as I figured out my options on how to deal with the dead car. Andy and his crew were honest and kind throughout the entire process. It's awful to have your car break down, but I felt incredibly lucky to have rolled into Andy's shop that day.

The owner and the rest of the team were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They're the go to shop if you need collision work. Thank you!
