AV Kabob House, Lancaster CA

The service is very nice and courteous the food is wonderful. They make the hummus fresh. Although the atmosphere is on a low quality it's still worth the price of price of ignition. They have a market next to it which connects together so you know that the food is good because all restaurants that have a market are usually the best tasting.

Not the most nice-looking place but no air conditioning and no fountain drinks! Overall the food is good! Love the rice. Meat is ok. Their humus is delicious! Best I've had ever! Call in advance, so you just dont sit 20+ minutes to get tour food! Make sure to speak slowly and load as the staff dint really understand English and might get your order wrong! I would recommend this place for take out only. Specifically during summer as they don't have air-conditioning!

My star rating may be misleading but I enjoyed this location. The food was ok but the service was very bad. I felt like I was disturbing their conversation to make my order.

Went there to buy one thing as soon as i walked in the cashier told me hey you can’t come in here with your purse i said what he said yes go back put your purse in the car and come in to get what you want i said why thats ridiculous he said the owner said that first of all i felt very insulated why I’m i being treated like a criminal for god’s sake i I have been to this place few times the last time i stopped by was 2022, i was kind of shocked so i said i refuse to be treated this way and I’m taking my business elsewhere and left, i was wondering what is the owner thinking all everything in that store is nasty covered with dust and the items all over the place and their customer service is awful too honestly i dont know what they are afraid NOTHING TO STEAL IN THAT MESS ANYWAY SMH

Very nice people, Love that they have a produce market, I've never been to the restaurant part of this establishment only the produce market area because my mom loves buying Pita bread but regardless everytime we come, the workers are always very nice.

Great place and great service. They have a few vegetarian dishes for those who need it. Their dishes are 8/10. Forgot to ask for extra bread and hummus. Will come back more often.

Best Mediterranean food in the AV. A little bit pricey but definitely worth every dollar. I usually get the chicken kabob for my wife and I.

Not fancy, but the food is excellent, which is what matters. The adjacent market space has many tasty and often exotic items. The flat bread is also good and homemade garlic spread is wonderful. It is a favorite place for lunch or dinner. Most people take the food with them.

Hidden gem for sure! I ordered the lamb combo and wow, it is absolutely delicious. I am middle eastern so I know when I spot some gooood kabob. Whole meal was perfect with hummus and fresh yummy salad. Highly recommend.

AV Kabob is the best medeterranean food in the AV. Olives is great too, but if you want a great medeterranean meal for a great price. This is the spot!

The food was amazing. However, placing an online or telephone order was a little difficult. Location is also a little sketchy.

Best kabob in the Antelope Valley. A must stop as we travel through Lancaster. Home of the really large and really thin pitas. One of the few places that has lamb, some of the best in California. They have a good hummus, falafel, and salad.

Tried ordering food three times before and first two times I was ignored by the owner and lady cook. Third time I went there was an Armenian guy said he was new and didn't know how to take food orders! Asked me to come back in 30 minutes. (I worked 12 hours that day). I called today Jan 15,2023 and was told they close at 7pm. I get there my family was coming after me I got there at 4: 50pm and while I was there the owner tells me they are closing at 5: 30. Finally was able to order a plate for me to go. We planned on eating there since my family is visiting from another state. So I ordered my plate but then we had to leave as my fam got there at 5: 15 and we were told we couldn't order anymore food. So we left to medranos! I think this will be the last time I go to this place!

This place is trash I'm not sure what kind of food this is but is not authentic Greek. Horrible service. Looks dirty and unless you want to get sick or go to the hospital stay away

This hole-in-the-wall joint is by far, my favorite place in the AV to get my Mediterranean food fix. Their hummus is delicious and their beef plate is so flavorful.
