Prepare to have your rent raised 10% every year (the maximum legal limit in CA) so over $325 increase a month every year. You’ll be priced out of your unit within a year or two. After two years here it will be increased almost 700 a month with a larger increase each year. So don’t get comfortable here or think you can settle down in this complex. Won’t happen. They are not looking for long term tenants. They want you out!

Well, I must let all know if you want to experience a great environment, caring staff, smooth application process, prompt maintenance service, you should consider AVA Newport as your first stop for your apartment Surely, after meeting Ian, the administrative/ coordinator, for the first time, you feel you are in good hands from the day one!

I lived there for a year. It was great, I genuinely had an excellent experience there. I do want to say however that the maintenance team lead by Jose are my absolute hero’s! They went above and beyond in not just maintaining my apartment but when I was moving both in and out. Seriously next level help that I just could not have expected. So thank you Jose this shoutout is genuinely for you man. You’re my guy and Ava is lucky to have you!

We loved living at Ava for the past 2 years. Great staff in the office and maintenance, clean amenities, and you can’t beat the location! Highly recommend to anyone considering moving in, you’ll love it!

I’ve been at AVA for little over 3 months now and couldn’t be happier, great amenities, rad neighbors and the apartment itself is great. Jacob and all the other AVA management is extremely helpful as well!

This review is in particular for the excellent service provided by Erik Arreola. Erik has provided consistent professional, high-quality, and sincere care to my apartment. He is always very respectful, polite, and the quality of his work is clear and he is knowledgeable with the care needed for a living space. I know it will always be a job well done. This service is one of the best parts of living at AVA. He is also been very compliant with COVID-19 and wears a mask properly each time.

No, I didn't live here, but I did take a tour of the complex and would like to share my experience. Ultimately, it was very impersonal and confusing. The complex looks cute, but it's on the corner of two busy streets. I also overhead a plane every 10 minutes. No one followed up with me, answered my questions, or even asked how I was doing.

Steven in maintenance has been wonderful. He came on a Sunday to re key my locks on my door and brought my mail to me as my mailbox has been compromised. He is very kind and caring. I appreciate home very much

We moved here in June and are so happy we did. The staff were so helpful and professional as we worked through moving during COVID, especially Stephanie who ensured everything was in place when we got here. (Keys and handover of apartment all happened through social distancing and strong safety measures). The apartment itself is just what we wanted.spacious, clean and little/no noise at night! The pool is an added bonus and we appreciate the effort the team are going to to allow residents use the pool through a reservation system to be safe. Location is perfect and we're always a quick 5min drive from anything we need.
