I wouldn’t waste your time here. They rush through appointments, dirty offices, & did exactly what the LC said at the hospital said would happen when I mentioned a tongue tie. The lady didn’t even put on gloves & tried to check for a tongue tie. With no gloves. Disgusting. Definitely find a pediatrician & dr office who cares about your child. KEEP LOOKING. You’ll find someone better!

Great staff, Dr, and service. They always got my son in and for follow up after emergencies or sicknesses. It was never a long wait. They are happy to see your child grow with them and take the time to answer questions. I’m happy I chose Dr Avala as my son’s Dr and was sad to leave when we moved.

My daughter was a patient here in 2021.

A doctor who worked here at that time wrote incorrect information on my daughter's visit notes.

This negatively affected my daughter's car insurance claim. I spoke to Dr. Avala and she said she couldn't help me. She told me the doctor was gone and the records couldn't be corrected. She advised me to send an email to the administration, but they never contacted me or corrected the problem.

Be careful taking your child here. You never know how important their records might be. The doctor didn't listen to my daughter and wrote something completely made up. My daughter did not receive good care here.

(I have an ER report that contradicts what the doctor wrote. I have proof to back up my claim.)

This Dr is under equipped (no baby heart monitor/O2 gauge among other things), and unethical. My son was born completely tongue and lip tied, we were released from hospital with a referral for immediate/emergent revision, and this Dr told me the ONLY place from here clear down to the Bay Area that could do a revision was Sac ENT. For over a MONTH I was told to wait and be patient, given the run around, while my baby struggled to eat and breathe while on his back. I called WIC out of sheer panic and frustration and was referred to a pediatrician who performed my sons revisions that SAME DAY due to severity.

I don’t know why this Dr would be motivated to lie and say they only place or person who can do a tie revision is Sac ENT, but because of her unethical practice my son suffered unnecessarily for too long. Is that illegal? I feel like that ought to have been illegal.

We immediately switched pediatricians, and now it’s time to enroll my oldest in preschool (this was only 3mo ago) and she’s saying she doesn’t have the physican’s report form necessary for the county of Sacramento school enrollment. My current pediatrician has it, they’re just not who performed her physical within the last 12mo so I needed to be in contact with this office.

This Dr is an unethical liar, and doesn’t care about her patients.
