Avalon Hayes Valley, San Francisco CA

We searched a lot of properties in the Bay Area before choosing Avalon Hayes. My girlfriend lived here previously and we came back after moving away for a few years because we missed it so much! Overall, this has been the best apartment unit I've stayed in the Bay Area in my 8 years living here. Here are just a few reasons you should choose to live here, even during COVID-19.

STAFF — definitely one of the biggest highlights of living here. David and Tricia have been incredible to work with and really care about making residents's stays perfect. They helped us weigh pro's and con's between different units and made move-in smooth. Abraham and Romeo have also been super helpful, repairing anything that was broken or worn down. For example, our washer/dryer unit was having issues after move-in, and within a few days, I had a brand new one installed. This isn't unusually fast for them, even—all interactions we've had with the leasing office and work order system have been super prompt, a big difference between this Avalon property and other rental units I've stayed at.

LOCATION — right next to the main drag of Hayes Street with amazing food options. Chez Maman, Papito, Urban Ritual, Blue Bottle, Nojo Ramen, Fatted Calf, to a name just a few of the amazing shops open during the pandemic that are a stone's throw from Avalon Hayes. No need to cook every day, and you don't need to use delivery apps to get good food. Easy access to the freeway from the Oak Street side. Overall very convenient location in San Francisco proper.

FACILITIES — everything on the premises is well maintained. Aesthetics of the units and hallways are contemporary. The central garden foyer features a a bunch of plants and a few residents have gone all-out on their patios with lush tomato plants. Unfortunately the gym is closed now due to COVID-19 restrictions, but I've used it previously and found it similarly kept in good condition.

I'm really pleased to be at Avalon Hayes Valley, and would highly recommend you choose to stay here!

This building has great staff! Thanks to Trish and David in helping us transfer to our dream unit and always being available to talk.
Additionally, we have a great maintenance crew! Super friendly and very professional. They’re responsive to your service requests and Abraham is great at scheduling a time that works with your schedule. They’re also respectful of your home which we really appreciate (ie. Wear shoe covers and clean up after their work). Special thanks to Romeo and Marlon who had to trade out of washing machine. Again, super friendly, worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. We really appreciate all you do! Thanks for making it a great experience.

Their maintenance team is always on top of it! When putting in a request, they're here the next day and usually have it fixed within that week. Super great and friendly people!

If you're looking for a top tier apartment with a stellar location and a fantastic staff, look no further than Avalon Hayes Valley.

My wife and I moved from North Carolina to California and this was the first place that we lived. The location is central to many of the best parts of San Francisco and is walking distance from dolores park, Alamo Square and the SOMA area.

The apartments are not the largest but come well equipped with premium fixtures and appliances.

As far as everyday life at Avalon Hayes Valley goes, it is typically peaceful, relaxing and easy going. It was rare to have issues with any of the other residents and there were not many noise issues.

When the rooftop is open, it gives a phenomenal view of the entire city.

The best part of the Avalon experience however, is the apartment staff. Between David, Trish and the maintenance team - everyone who you will interact with will go out of their way to make you feel at home. They've also done a superb job with adjusting to life with COVID and ensuring that the community takes the proper precautions.

10/10 would recommend living here.

My whole experience living at Avalon Hayes Valley has been amazing. Fantastic service, helpful and friendly team, well organised, great amenities, fantastic apartments and great neighbourhood.

I’ve lived in 2 different types of apartment here; a 2 bed and a 2 bed townhouse. Both were fantastic. The townhouses give an amazing amount of space and features.

The management team have always gone over and above to make my experience here seamless and special. David and Trish are always available, responsive and willing to help problem solve and get things done.

I would 100% choose to live here again in the future. It’s a great place to call home!

All settled and moved in recently to Hayes Valley Avalon. We feel at home! The community is so friendly, clean, and accommodating. Anthony and Elliot, community managers, give 5 star service, extremely timely with communication, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend making Avalon your next home!

Romeo was good on fixing the broken items of the house, he fixed two broken things really fast and it was clean.

I've had an amazing experience touring, leasing, and moving into an apartment in this building. The apartments and community are modern and high-quality, and everyone I've worked with has been fantastic.

I love living at Avalon Hayes Valley. This is my first apartment in San Francisco. The building is new, the apartments are in perfect condition and exceptionally maintained. Everything is so clean, including the public spaces, car park, rooftop. The team does a fabulous job. They work extremely hard to make sure their residents feel at home. Thank you Elliot, Sophia, Abraham, Romeo, and Paul for everything you do. You are truly amazing.

As a qualifier, I don't actually live in this building, but I live in the neighborhood and watched it being constructed. I have experience developing multi-family residential apartments and can attest to the quality of the design and the durability of the construction. They built these apartments far better than other comparable units in the neighborhood.

I have loved my time at the Avalon Hayes Valley. Not only is the property extremely well located and beautiful but the management is the cherry on top. Sophia Del Bianco has been the most responsive and caring property manager I have yet to encounter, from when we moved in to the property to now having been here almost a year, she is helpful, kind and always willing to help. Not to mention she places a huge focus on growing the community and thanks to her, I have met many new friends in the building. Thanks for making our experience here amazing, Sophia!:)

I have only lived at Avalon Hayes for about a week, but I must say I am already in LOVE. In addition to the stellar location, the staff is extremely helpful, moving in was a breeze, the rooftop patio and gym are wonderful and the overall building ambiance is spectacular.

The property is well-maintained and very clean. The management staff, Elliott and Sophia, do everything to make your living experience top notch!

Romeo, Paul, Elliot and Sophia do everything possible to make this spot a home. Location is unreal, and the rooftop might just be the best place to host get togethers in all of San Francisco.

After living in several other apartments all over the US, I can say with certainty that our experience at Avalon Hayes Valley has been by far the best. The staff are great-seriously, they're awesome-it's in the best neighborhood in SF, the amenities are top notch, and my apartment is the nicest. Small, yes, but you're living in San Francisco, and we've set our studio up nicely. 100% recommend. Hope to stay here for a while.

I put in my first non-emergency service request, and it was answered and solved within a couple of hours. Excellent service. Wonderful people.

LOVE our new place at Avalon Hayes Valley. Sophia and Elliot have both been extremely helpful both before our move and during. The complex itself is very nice and the rooftop is gorgeous, and our apartment is perfect for us (both floor plan, size and distribution of space).

Amazing front desk & maintenance team. They're always so incredibly helpful and super fast at fixing anything you could imagine for your home.
