This is a hidden gem in Salinas! If you are craving for some authentic Indian meal, this is the place. We ordered paneer tikka, chholey, dal makhni and naans! Everything was cooked to perfection and super delicious!

The all-in-one elderly gentleman manning the restaurant like a pro was super nice and we enjoyed a small conversation about Mumbai.

Loved this place. Wish we had more time but we enjoyed our dinner here.

Best selection of Indian food in Salinas! There’s a bit of a language barrier but the services is welcoming. The curry dishes I got were savory and delicious. The restaurant style is very casual. Lots of mobile orders being processed while we were there. Very authentic food. Modest wine and beer selection. Family style food. Vegetarian selections. Coming back soon to try other selections.

The cashier didn’t want to give me my change back he said that’s his tip the bill was $54.00 I gave him $60.00 also I put money in jar for tip but he wanted more. He also said Don’t come back here.

This was my first time trying Indian food and what a pleasant experience! The owner was really sweet and the portions were larger than I expected! The price for the portion was great! It’s a great environment for sharing and I really enjoyed it.

Everything I have tried from here is SO bland. Indian food is meant to have so much flavor and depth even if the restaurant is not necessarily catering to Indian taste buds. Normally I only order things I don't want to make myself - the lamb kebabs are the only tasty thing I have had here. So disappointing.

The food wasn’t good there it looked the food was made for long a time then served i ordered something & was served to me wrong food I give it only one because they brought fast

I had chicken curry and rice thought it could use a lil more pepper for spice otherwise it was delicious

I ordered butter chicken and garlic naan by Uber eats. Butter chicken taste just tomato sauce. Naan was ok. We know the taste of butter chicken. That’s why we ordered.

Food was nice.
Masala fries was basically honey chilly fries, and was very good along with Schzewan chutney.

This place is in a major downward spiral, customer service needs improvement, should hire someone that understands more english. Server doesn't understand simple requests or questions. Won't ever be coming back, i'll be taking my money to a better option in Monterey.

First time I ever try yellow Daal with rice their cheese naan, cauliflower dish this is how i got into vegetarian food.

Actually we never say good or bad to food but l am sure no body go there second time,
Just we have to throw the food taken from.pl don't waste money

️ In India, they put a warning around dangerous places. Sadly this place requires such warning. ️

We had ordered Daal Makhani and few paneer dishes and surprisingly all dishes had same gravy. I dont understand how daal and paneer can have same gravy.

I saw the chef carry Sriracha sauce but didnt bother until my food arrived and I tasted it. Chef had added Sriracha sauce to all dishes to make it spicy.

Service was super slow as they prioritized phone orders over customers in store.

We felt sick after eating the food.

They are nice people, no hard feelings, just that cooking is not their strengths.

I absolutely love this place, would be 5 stars if dine in was available. Hasn’t been long after the indoor dining restrictions were lifted.

Rude staff,
I took 15 mins detour from 101 for the restaurant after checking the restaurant was open. I reached the place around 3: 30ish. When I went in, the only response I got from the staff was, "Look at the door" It seemed like they had closed for the lunch break till 4, with some notice on the door.
I believe they could have handled it differently.

Difficult to communicate with staff. They seem confused about our call in order when I went to pick it up, and it looked like they had to start from scratch. Food was good.
