Aventine Apartments, Hercules CA

DO NOT move here! The owners are cheap and basically pay for NOTHING! The tenant pays for parking, rental of facilities, cleaning fee upon move out (which does NOT include carpet, there’s a separate charge for that), paint, I mean EVERYTHING upon move out, even though it’s normal wear and tear! They even charge a “move out fee” on your last utility bill! The way these people are allowed to operate should be ILLEGAL! Tenants may as well be the property owners. Not to mention, the dogs constantly poop and urinate EVERYWHERE, including the stairway, parking garage, and elevator! I will say that Pierre and Cody (the maintenance men) are very friendly and responsive! However, I would still encourage anyone to find somewhere else to live! At least one that provides at least one free parking stall. This place will find every reason to keep your deposit or ensure your refund is very minimal! RUUUUUUUUUUN, avoid the Aventine if AT ALL possible! If I could give ZERO stars, I would!

Brooke was really nice and helpful. She was very supportive of our application process and well-organized. The Aventine Apartments were nice and clean.

Pierre was very attentive and helpful. He fixed my issue right away and made sure I felt comfortable. I have not had a better service before.

While the apartments themselves are nice and the maintenance staff is nice that’s about all the positive things I can say about this place. You get no reception here so if you work from home or use your phone a lot, expect to only use wifi. The management team is not compassionate at all, they are a money hungry company and it shows with how they run the apartments. Also, everyone seems to smoke pot and it stinks up the place. I’d say look somewhere else if you want something worth your while.

The Aventine apartment complex is very modern, stylish, and clean. My tour guide was pleasant and answered all my questions about the property.

I’ve been here three years, although I’m not black I’ve noticed African Americans are treated poorly here. Other than that this place is great

Beautiful property with some very nice amenities. Unfortunately, there are no EV charging spaces for resident parking.

I have lived here for several months and have had a very positive experience. In particular, leasing manager Sarah is always helpful and responsive to my requests and concerns. She runs a great staff!

We’ve had nothing but an amazing experience since our initial tour. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. 5 stars for all the crew and their hard work! We love and appreciate the communication, hospitality and all around care for their tenants— truly makes living here a bonus. Looking forward to our future here!

The place was beautiful. Neatly kept. Another of Amenities that come with the rent. The person that gave us the tour was awesome. Love it and will be leasing from the Aventine
