Rooms are like an unrenovated motel. Not upscale. Bathroom looks ancient and feels like being in a dark cave. Strange odors waft throughout the room. Closet with dirty vent overhead. Stains on outlets and smelly carpets. Couch creaks and feels like it will fall apart. Very dark with minimal lighting. Reminds me of an Element or Best Western property, not an upscale modern one. Staff are ok but condescending and not eager to please. Location is ok for business.

Have stayed here twice now. I really like the location. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are quaint. The staff is impeccable. It’s my go to for this area.

While the location and service are good, everything else is terrible. The hotel itself is beautiful with very nice lake view. However the rooms are just terrible. Walls are paper thin and conversations in the hallway can be heard. The wifi is crawling. Have they never heard of broadband? The shower pressure is barely there. We couldn’t get the room to actually cool down properly in the middle of summer. The AC ran, but it wasn’t any better than a fan. The unfortunate thing is that the comforter is so warm. If only we had stayed here in the winter, but it never gets that cold in Southern California anyway.

This hotel decided to perform an emergency alert test at THREE IN THE MORNING. In all of my travels around the world this has never happened. I have bad insomnia so imagine my displeasure when I’m finally asleep and this happens. Then when I try to order coffee at 8am, no one picks up the room service phone until after literally 10 tries. Maybe all the other guests woken up in the middle of the night were all trying to order coffee simultaneously?

A perfect location for Orange County visiting. Many places surrounding for arts, shopping, and all other activities.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms left something to be desired. Mattress was worn out (depression on sides from so many people sleeping on it) and my room didn’t have hot water. Expected more, switching hotels next time.

The Avenue of the Arts is an eclectic property. A combination of new and vintage design along with smatterings of art and music, give the hotel an interesting character with a lively vibe.

The standard room is small but surprisingly functional. Unlike many of the newer or renovated hotels, rooms in this hotel actually have drawers, decent lighting, and enough outlets for plugging in all of your necessary electronics. Pillows are rock hard (but you can ask for softer pillows). The restaurant’s outdoor patio is quite lovely. Breakfast is typical; good but nothing special. The hot tub was out of service. Location is within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, theater, and concerts, and only a few quick minutes from the SNA airport.

Heads up if a balcony is important to you: Only a handful of rooms have extended balconies (facing the “river/jungle” and a few on the first floor facing the lake. The rest of the balconies are Juliet style with a maximum depth of about 18 inches (good for standing but not for sitting). Upon checkout, the front desk supervisor confirmed that while you can reserve a room with a balcony, the extended balcony is “not guaranteed”. If an extended balcony is important to you, you may want to specify this in your reservation and/or call the front desk before checking in.

Stayed here for a week for a work trip in an executive suite- it was spacious but pretty outdated. I expected a little more from this hotel. The living room furniture was not comfortable and kind of dingy. The bathroom needed major upgrades. The perfumey smell in the lobby was too over powering and I hated having to walk through there. However, the parking was very convenient and the hotel proximity to shopping and restaurants was great!

Perfect for Koreans who like to walk. There was a lot to see around, it was safe, and it was nice that the room was clean! I couldn't see the soles of my American companions getting dirty. The staff are also incredibly friendly

A fancy hotel located at the heart of city and yet away from the hustle and bustle. It is also very close to the Orange County airport. They have great conference rooms and the outside deck near the water body is really nice if the weather is sunny. The room was large with all amenities available. Their breakfast and lunch offerings were great and had options for vegetarian, vegans and non veg. The staff was very courteous and helpful as well. So all in all a nice experience

Facilities staff is very friendly the apartments them selves are beautiful the landscape is great! But layout of the building is not moving friendly lots of long walks and corridors. Being the owners of licensed moving company little stuff like this makes all the difference. If you are renting a new apartment request one close to the elevator you can it'll save time and money on your moving cost!

Not impressed. Bed was filled with this sandy substance under the comforter above the sheet. Hallway had strong cigarette smell. Seemed like everything was hidden behind needing “gold status” with Marriot if you ask at the front desk. There was a very loud refrigerator in our room but very weirdly it was in a locked cabinet so you couldn’t access it. I guess yet another thing you have to prove your loyalty to them for access. Small closets. Shower was luke warm with bad water pressure. But looked nice.

The hotel was nice. The Manager with blonde hair was being rude not letting me pass thru the back door for a “private event”, even after I already spent the night, so I had to walk around to talk to the office. Alan the valet made up for it and was friendly and kind, He helped give my Tahoe a jump start, So I gave him a tip, Thank you Alan because of you we look forward to staying there again!

We were in LA for weekend trip. Staying in this hotel was one of the best part of this trip. Very luxurious and quite. The small lake behind it is very beautiful. It has turtles, ducks and fish in it. Very peaceful.
In other services, it seems they donot have shuttle service even they are very near to airport. My flight was early morning and they said they donot provide shuttle services at that time, so I'm not sure about rest of the day.
And they have restaurant but breakfast is not included.

Very clean and well organized. Spacious. Mattress and blankets were very comfortable. Seems all clean.

Came here for a work event. The staff was very accommodating and professional. The venue is gorgeous! Especially the water feature around the lobby.

Front desk manager has absolutely bizarre demeanor, so I will be moving our group elsewhere.
