I was craving some roasted corn (I can't get enough) and some fried chicken but when I visited the food spots were closed. I check out the touristy store and it was a fun way to kill some time. For me the highlight was the critters and watching the kids trying to feed them.

Two days later I was still craving their menu so I came back for the Nashville chicken and I'm glad I did. Delicious! Their spicy had just a little bit of heat, at least to me. My better half would probably be crying.

Table next to me got smoked artichoke and it looked amazing. The pickled cukes are perfect.

The roasted corn stand was open, but it is cash only and I didn't have the four bucks on me at the time. It's just as well, I was stuffed from the chicken.

Great place for produce and family fun. Lots of cool animals in pens behind the store. Snack Bar is awesome too!

Always an adventure to see what the Barn has to offer. But, inflation, supply, labor or whatever has priced me out of this kind of place. Hard to find anything other than limited quality of produce for less than $9. Wanted some honey but at $19 a pint I must draw the line. I get it, Covid and runaway inflation have forced the problem but that leaves me out. BUT, the Barn is still a 5 star place for kids.

The Olallieberry Crisp doesn't taste right. It tastes like maybe they are using brambleberries or some other imposters. Thumbs down. This place has terrible signage, if you don't happen to know where it is you'll just drive right by. There is no sign pointing to the entrance or anything.

Friendly and curtious staff. Animals that you can feed. Great homemade? Pies, home grown vegetables and fruit. Perfect for family's.

This place is so cute! I wish we lived closer cause those pies smelled so good! The little shop they have has lots of cute stuff and displayed very well. The food was good and the animals look happy. Their names are even cute! The goats were sassy nd loved scratches. Rooftop Ralph seems like a sassy goat. When you go, you'll know exactly why he got that name.

Super cute! We're from out of state, we loved it! Very small, in my opinion but the homestyle feel was awesome. Loved it!

Lots of fun for a family with kids. The food was very tasty! While pricey, the country store is very cute, and has fun things to remember your trip, decorate you home, or to eat. The homemade pies, and crisps are awesome!

Took the family here for a couple of hours and had a blast. Plan to order food here. We got the Nashville chicken sandwich, cole slaw and artichoke. All were so delicious that we went back the next day for round 2. You can also order regular or hard cider, the latter of which is bottled at their sister farm (Gopher Glen). My oldest child (still a toddler) was able to feed some pretty tame farm animals ($3 for some feeding lettuce). There's a shop where you can order farm type products, bread and pies. There's a separate 'sweets' shop where they sell ice cream and other sweets.

Every time we visit Cayucos, we take the time to visit Avila Valley Barn. It is a tradition in our family to enjoy their fall foods and sites. We love this place.

It was a nice visit to the barn. Lots of pumpkins, flowers, fruits trees, tomato plants, and some animals. I also bought some home-made pies and pumpkin breads. It’s a fun event with family.

Great place with lots to see and do.
The corn on the cob was super yummy, as was their ice cream.
Their prices are a little steep but I would still recommend this place.
