Rented here four times. Had major issues on last two returns. Was charged $5,000 instead of $200 by wrong milage data entry. Now I've just received a message saying they don't have the van I'd returned a week ago.

Despite the bad reviews, I've rented from here like 6 times since moving to Murrieta with 0 issues. I always deal with the same guy. I book in advance, come prepared and walk out quickly generally. Only had to wait one time and I think I got there like 30 minutes early so they just had to clean my vehicle first. Overall chill rental experience and one of the easier non-airport locations I've used.

Joe was one of the staff who rented me a car recently. He is awesome.

I picked up in Murrieta and dropped off in downtown LA, conveniently and smoothly.

Customer service was horrible. One man waited on the phone at the office with customer support for over 30 mins.only to still not be helped. I had a card and a debit card but because they were both chime and cash app they couldn't take it.even though it said online debit cards would work. Varo is an actual bank and they wouldn't take that either. The vehicle I reserved they didn't have and then the one I accepted they gave away. I'd never go back nor would I send anyone to them. Id in fact urge people to not use this location.

Made a reservation and called the same day to insure the rental was available and they said yes it was the next day when it was time to pick up the rental I was called and told it wasn't available and I told them that I called yesterday to make sure a rental was available and they told me I probably spoke with call center agent which was definitely not the case smh

Overcharged me. Charges that even the clerk could not explain. Putting g a hold on my CC payment til they reduce the final bill by quoted amount. Cheaters

A vending machine would be just a helpful as the ladies at the front desk. No customer service whatsoever.

This actually for Budget.
Seriously horrible customer service, no help if you need it. Gave me a vehicle with absolutely no brakes. Had to be on time to pick up my daughter 600 miles away. Stopped at lots of locations on my way to try to get a different vehicle. No cars, no help. Even their 800 number didn't care at all. Anxiety, fear took over on the first day of my vacation until I finally found a Budget branch who helped me. Test your vehicles before you rent them out. Also clean them if you don't mind, it was nasty inside. Very disappointed.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I drove my aunt to pick up a car on Sunday. She had a reservation at Noon. We got there about 11: 50 and they were close! We were told they had just closed. How ate you going to have reservation available for Noon and not be there? Still waiting on getting her money back.

I arrived at the Avis at 1155 for my 1200 pick up and the doors were locked, and the lights were off. Another customer arrived behind me 1 minute later as well. While I was contacting customer support to pick up my rental, the other customer went to the back of the building to find the female employee heading towards her car.

I heard the other customer inform her we were there to pick up our rentals, and the customer turned towards me and said the employee said too bad and was leaving. As I turned the corner, the person was speeding off in a gray car.

I felt this was very unprofessional. Granted, I was not there super early, but I was not super late either. Then I spent 20 minutes trying to contact a representative to extend my current rental and change my other rental.

If we can't pick up at 1200 then do not make it an option to pick up at 1200.

Soooo disappointed, rental was stolen. Online Customer Service"dont even waste your time, NO RESPONSE"
Local office WOW, poor front counter reps they just "dont know, stolen process"
onlt SUVs have trackers, SOOO if your rental is below that grade, well its up to you"customer" to find it. NEVER EVER RENT AVIS AGAIN. Mama told me, you get what you pay for!

They have cars! No, seriously they have cars, BUT you may reserve one…even pay in advance and not get your car. That’s what I was told. How can they do that? It’s so unprofessional. Fortunately, I got my car. It was clean, but the back seatbelt was broken. Service was ok. Still…I got my car that I had paid in advance for.

I normally rent here. Today had done it. I was totally discriminated against with a process I have witness multiple times happen but all of a sudden for me it can’t be done. I appreciate the one girl that use to help me often. She always made sure I get the best rates and leave with what I’m looking for. Sevina (don’t mean to butcher her name) but that’s who started this ball to roll down hill. She was not the best help in explanation or even communicating really. I felt nothing but discrimination talking to that girl. Thanks again to the other girl I’m use to but I won’t be seeing you anymore.

Friendly staff, affordable rental prices, but I was given a rental with bad tags! Like wow it wasn't good, I definitely didn't enjoy getting pulled over for the tags when I had important things to do.
