I returned a car friday dec. 23 around 3pm. The old asian man mumbled just a minute after I waited for a minute with nobody else in the place. He then proceeded to stare at a computer screen with a slight smirk for the next 3 minutes while I waited. Another employee came in, looked at me in a bit of shock as exasperation and asked if I was returning. I said yes and he gave a bit of a sigh as he looked at the old asian man. The asian man gave a barely audibly but slightly embarrassed 'sorry i was busy', and their tones gave away that this was not the first time his lazy, selfish, dismissive attitude has caused issues for his coworkers.
I looked at his screen and it was blank. Perhaps his supervisors should explain to him why ignoring a customer who has gave them thousands of dollars of business in the last 6 months is a bad idea. Or perhaps explain to him why it is not a good idea to prioritize his laziness over preferred customers.
Is the labor pool for avis so shallow that keeping this doIt employed there is a good idea?

We had a very good experience renting an SUV for 3 weeks. We got in and out quickly. Same for the return. There were no surprises which we appreciated.

Came to this place to rent a car. The customer service is extreamly bad and the person is narcissistic. The most unprofessional service I have ever received from any car rental company. Never coming back here or recommending this place…

Rented car.all was good.i primarily took for dmv test and the person at avis said i can use the rental agreement and that should work.but dmv wanted a letter head authorization from avis saying no objections to use the car for dmv test.i called avis and they said they cannot give any such letter.not sure where the disconnect is.the car as such the rental experience was okay.

Worst experience. I flew in from New York, arrived at the rental place at 12: 05. They told me they couldn’t give my rental because they closed at 12pm and they couldn’t make an exception even after I explained I had just landed. I took an Uber from the airport which costed $45, and then I had to take another Uber to go to a different car rental place which costed $31. If you’re traveling and you make a reservation through a third party, make sure you go to their website, to check if your time of arrival will match with their ridiculous work schedules.
Very dissatisfied with this experience, rude people on top of it all.

Are you serious!? No apology? I understand schedules, but I was 5 mins after closing! I had to pay extra to get to a different place. And by the way, I was able to rent from another place who were closing at 12.
Your workers could’ve had been nicer, and your response could’ve had been more professional.

Above an beyond manager/owner operator was very helpful with no Uber rental cars left he mad it happen for me even tho there was multiple road blocks he was able to get me into a car that after noon
