Avis car rental

My go to for a rental in Santa Cruz, repeat customer 4 times now. Great customer service & always clean vehicles! Also super easy to reserve online

The manager Mannish. Was very disrespectful and rude on the phone. Told me it is corporate policy that I cannot rent with my debit card. Under age 25 when I have rented from another Avis location before with my debit card mannish was swearing at me on the phone. And was not helpful in anyway. Told me Avis does not allow me to rent with a debit card. When I’ve done it before and have had zero issue. And when I brought up the young driver fee he brushed it away. And said there was no such thing as a young driver fee formal complaint with corporate has been made. I will take this manager down.

The Santa Cruz office was very helpful in securing a rental on short notice and made picking up and returning the rental. They made the whole experience easy. They were great!

I can not thank these guys enough. We were on family vacation and our trucks transmission grenaded on us leaving us stranded 400 miles from home. Only option was to rent a car and drive home. Unfortunately nobody had any cars. After explaining our situation Manish went above and beyond to get us into a vehicle so my family and I could get home. 10/10 recommend and thank you guys again. I'm in your debt

My husband went to the Avis in Salt Lake City at the airport. Bernie was our Dude. He did a physical check of the car we were in a car that had lots of physical damage and we were ok with it. But he checked our car and made sure we switched bc the one we were in was not in good condition. Without his help we might have had an issue. Thank you Bernie!

Very good service at this location. The manager Mannish is personable and extremely helpful. My experience with Avis customer service on the phone really sucked, but Mannish was great at resolving my issues. I would definitely rent a car here again.

Manish was very helpful, the car was clean and as described.no Hassles. I will definitely go back again.

Walked an hour to pick up the rental I had pre paid for when my car was in the shop. Was not allowed to take the vehicle when I got to the Avis location, because they didn’t have the ability to hold the security deposit with a digital payment, and I didn’t have my physical credit card with me. Wasn’t able to get to work on time because of this hassle. Luckily they did give me a full refund.

The Santa Cruz location needs a lot of work from its appearance and keeping it maintained. The vehicles were in ok clean condition but the details are not being done. The Avis San José Airport location is legit.

The Avis Santa Cruz CA location is outstanding and the service is excellent. Go rent a car and enjoy the Santa Cruz coastline
