Environment was cool. Friendly and helpful staff. They taught the techniques to throw and adjusted our throwing habit with the reasoning. In the beginning my throws had a hard time sticking. Not going to lie, got scared a little as it bounced back towards me. After some helpful coaching from the staff, I was hitting bullseyes and even aiming at the smallest blue target on the 1 point area, I got it! It was “stick your thumb up behind the axe” tip that did the trick! Pretty fun once you got the hang of it!

First experience axe throwing. This place was pretty fun besides two small complaints that I had.

First was the price online didn't specify that it was 35 per person when browsing their booking options. If you make a reservation you'll see it's per person but if you're just browsing the bundles it doesn't specify that.

Second, when paying I was prompted to give a tip. There is no reason to ask for a tip for this service and prompting it did ruin the experience a little.

Those two issues were my only real gripes. Learning to axe throw was fun and they had a lot of great games on the projector. If those two issues get fixed it'd be a five for sure.

Had a great time! Instructions were clear for what to do and how to be safe. Good variety of games to play. The location was nice and central and the coat wasn’t too expensive.

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously and bought the date night package. It's so addictive and fun! If you are looking to try something new and different, you can't go wrong with Axe Thro Co!

Had a bday party for my grandson and 10 family members. Everyone had a great time. And for any women out there not sure about axe throwing. The women in our party turned out to be the best Throwers!
Highly recommend for family events.

We had our teambuilding event here for 40+ people. The AxeThrowCo team was amazing, event was well organized and professional and more over everyone had a great time - I personally think a better option than bowling when you need to accommodate a large group.

This was the second year in a row we had our son's birthday party here. Everyone had a great time!

This place is so cool! As someone who had never been it was all I imagined it would be and this place took it to another level. There’s projectors that shine the target on the board with multiple different styles of targets, from zombie hunter- to a Christmas tree with presents and stockings type of targets. They do a good brief run down of how to throw the axe but everyone is different in motions needed to take to get a good throw. This is a wonderful place to host a company party or somewhere just new and fun. They have pool tables an Jenga as well. Come on down an check this place out! It’s well worth a shot ️

We celebrated my birthday and had a blast. A great time for fun and conversation with our adult children. We will definitely come back.

I have been axe throwing before but this place just hits the target! I came here with my work as a team building event, it was so easy to plan and it was so much fun!

Big shout out to Kalani our coach who showed us how to throw, how to aim, and how to have fun. The game system that he set up was really great and allowed all our team members to throw against each other.

Fun activity, horrible service.
I understand the company has to follow policy, however the staff is often not very friendly and twice out of the two times I've visited given me a hard time before coming to this place. Also don't appreciate the staff asking my party about being on the spectrum, it's really none of their business.

Had a great time axe throwing this weekend for my birthday/anniversary date night with my husband! The instructor was very helpful and nice! Would definitely come back to this place!

I have been to other Axe throwing places and this site was great based on the following.

1. People working there were very helpful and engaging.

2. The had options on games you could play which everyone loved.

3. The place was well maintained

Please make this a stop when you are in San Diego.

Brought my husband here for his birthday while we were out for a weekend in SD celebrating his bday and our anniversary. We had a great experience for first time axe throwers. Our instructor spent a good minute with us walking us through the rules and just guiding us making sure we felt comfortable before we started on our own. The selection of games they had were fun and competitive. We went on a Sunday an hour shortly after they opened and it was pretty empty with only one other party there which also allowed us to use one of the pool tables that they had there which came with my package purchased. Although my package only allowed us thirty mins axe throwing and thirty mins on the pool table, we weren’t rushed at all. They allowed us to take our time and were really welcoming and down to earth. Thanks guys!

Daniel's an amazing coach and provides great service getting a bunch of novices up and running! I'd give more stars if it let me!

So much fun! My company had a team event here and we had a blast. There is a guide with you the whole time who was encouraging and helped us with our form. Perfect place to have a team event!
