Ayawaska Petaluma reviews
211st time trying Peruvian food - it was beautifully presented & delicious. The atmosphere was chill & the service was friendly & very good.
Incredible options-everything fresh and well-balanced with seasonings. Our group had items from appetizers, salads, main courses, and specialty drinks, and all were outstanding.
It is a gem in Petaluma, We were looking for a different experience and found it here, food is real meal, tasty and service is very good, setting us nice
Loved the empanyadas, excellent service, and a very friendly bartender with excellent bartending skills
It was great. However, prices are skyrocketing. Which I understand "inflation " but charge me high quality price with high quality food, service and atmosphere.
This was a fabulous experience. Everything. The food the presentation the service. I highly recommend it. I can't wait to return.
Service from Alejandro C was great! The service team overall (our food was delivered to the wrong table and then just brought to us) was the highlight. Food was okay. For the price point, I expected a little more elevated experience. It was very fast-casual Americanized Peruvian food.
Every meal I’ve had here has been great. Expertly prepared, creative and delicious. Nice seating indoors or out with very helpful servers. Cocktails are also really excellent and creative. I highly recommend.
I really love this restaurant. It's spacious, light and charming, though a bit noisy later in the evening. The service is always excellent and the staff are willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. The cocktails take time to arrive, but are with the wait. My recommendations are arroz con mariscos, lomo saltado, pan de chicharrón and the whole fish.
Riverside dining with Pisco menu and affordable Peruvian fare. Friendly professional service and festive indoor and outdoor space.
Nice location but parking can be a bit of a hassle. Great restaurant. Good food. Friendly staff. Large menu for drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
The food is so good that my husband and I joked about moving to Petaluma so we could eat here more often. Outstanding all around!
I was here for a business meeting on a very nice sunny day. The seating outside was very nice and perfect for a day like that. Their yucca chips were too salty but the empanadas were delicious. They had good vegan options and I chose the lentil dish that was very tasty. The dish didn't need a flower on it and was a bit odd.
My friend and I we had the best octopus and ceviche… and Wendy is the person to go for advices. She is the most pleasant person to deal with. Great service, professionalism and personality. We love you Wendy
Great little spot right on the water in Petaluma. Good Peruvian food. Particularly enjoyed the selection of Ceviches. The drink menu was also rather involved - with a large collection of cocktails - both containing alcohol and not.
One thing that was odd was that the zero alcohol cocktails were the same price as regular cocktails ($15). With that said, they probably took equal time to prepare and showed a high level of complexity in terms of flavor.
Solid service from friendly staff - that was prompt and effective.
Setting is nice, with a great outdoor patio that allows dogs. Good views of a river running through town.
I’d go back.
Delicious food choices! We had the seafood choices “Cau cau de Maricos” which is a Peruvian stew style that has prawns, scallops, octopus on a curry base I think. & the other dish “Tacu Tacu” which is a creamy sauce of prawns, shrimps, scallops, octopus over a patty of fried rice mixed w beans. I really liked the mix for the drink “Arnold Palmer”! The sitting areas outside was perfect. I wasn’t sure about the 3% surcharge if it was the tip but it wasn’t. Very pricy restaurant. So you may have to pay a lot more then you expect.
My friend and I really enjoy the tuna ceviche with yummy root chips and a glass of wine. For the main course we shared short ribs, Very large portions great food for spitting
The patio was a great abiance along the river, cozy little fireplace with wonder service.
They close at 9 but say they close at 10. Be warned they close at 9! Not 10
Probably good food but misleading customers is the biggest business mistake
Good food, next time I'll get the octopus and fish. The ceviche was unique, and the beef was cooked perfectly.
Beautiful decor, food was ok. I prefer the food at Sazón in Sebastopol, but the ambiance at Ayawaska was way better.
