We rented a house through Azari Pm, and the whole process went smoothly. The team are very professional, even though we haven’t met most of them. When we have questions, I received quick responses from them, and I can feel they really care about their tenants. Special thanks to Arezoo, when I mentioned to her that we want to move in a little bit earlier than the official start date, she worked really hard and helped us get three days ahead to move in! She is very warm hearted and patient. Overall I am very satisfying working with Azari property management team.

Just wanted to write a review about the "Team" of wonderful folks we have been working with at Azari Property Management.

We have heard horror stories about the difficulty in working with property management. From day one, I had a great feeling about this team. They have been super responsive and informative throughout the entire process. I have never had an issue with getting a question answered and the answers have been quick. I have the direct lines of anyone within the organization I need to reach. They have made renting our house easy and stress free.

Genie has been a workhorse for us in taking pictures, making videos and showing our home and being honest about things that we need to adjust. Arezoo has been awesome - she always keeps us informed on the process and next steps. Both ladies have been a joy to work with.

Manzar is an owner that is hands on and available. Her passion for her company and her team sold me day one.

Great response rate and quick actions taken by the team when we realized that we didn't need to stay in SF anymore and were paying premium rates having moved in right before shelter in place. Our property manager helped us get a rent reduction mid-lease and ensured that we were able to stay in a city and building we love. They were super fast to respond and easy to work with!

Arezoo and Kelly have been absolutely wonderful during my move-in experience. Arezoo has been very responsive and quick to help/hop on a call regarding all things related to finalizing the lease and any other follow up questions I had. And Kelly has been so accommodating as she facilitated the completion of all of my maintenance requests and ensured the apartment was in tiptop shape for move-in. I'm so happy to have them both as my two main points of contact if I ever need anything in the future. Thank you to both for making my move-in process absolutely seamless! So happy to call my new apartment my new home:)

We had an excellent service with John and Genie from Azari property management today.
They clarified all our questions regarding the leasing options and application process.
I would recommend them highly to anyone considering a firm to manage a property too.

Kelly the maintenance coordinator is doing great job in serving us. Excellent response time, Avialable almost always (weekend included), and don’t give up until problem is solved. Very much customer friendly approach.

It required me to escalate a bathroom issue on a one bedroom one bathroom apartment, that I argue should be considered an emergency, but once John came and the issue was assigned to Reza, he came it and fixed it the same day (which was a Saturday).

The most professional property managers. We have had a substantial leak in our ceiling for only a day. They sent us an competent roofer that brought a ladder to properly inspect the roof. I am highly confident this problem will get fixed in the near future.

I'm really satisfied with the service provided by Azari Property Management. The staffs are always really helpful and responsive. I always get timely updates about what's going on in my property and everything is taken care of by them.
They really care about their customers. I remember when my account was first set up, they owner of Azari Property Management gave me a call in person to make sure the rent of the first month was wired to my bank account. Every time I sent them email, my questions were answered quickly in details.
I would definitely recommend Azari Property Management to my friends!

While I have just started working with Azari and have yet to move in to my apartment, Azari has thus far met all of my expectations. They have promptly responded to all communication, answered all my questions, and have been polite and respectful in written and verbal conversations. I am looking forward to continuing to work with them in the coming years as one of their tenants.

I urge you to avoid Azari PM at all costs. My agent has been incredibly deceitful, unhelpful, inconsiderate, and frankly unlawful. The Azari PM team has been grossly negligent in its management of my lease. I have lived in San Francisco for 11 years and have never had such a horrific broker agent experience.

I have already filed a report with the California Bureau of Real Estate (CalBRE) and the Better Business Bureau. I posted a warning on Craigslist, and have received dozens of messages from other residents who have had similarly bad experiences with Azari. Their Yelp reviews are horrendous - check them out.

CONTEXT

I work on Folsom Street and drive to work. I found the parking spot at 829 Folsom St, which is convenient to my office, and signed a lease with them. Everything went downhill from there.

1 - MARK LEASING ME SOMEONE ELSE'S PARKING SPOT IN A BAIT-AND-SWITCH MANEUVER AND THEN FAILED TO PROVIDE ANY REMEDY OR CONSIDERATION FOR THE ERROR.

I was initially rented parking spot #12, which is a full-sized space on the first floor in a very desirable location. I specifically visited the spot before signing the lease to ensure I could safely enter/exit the spot.

It turns out the actual spot owned by the landlord is #18. This spot is significantly worse. Spot #18 is a very compact space on the second basement floor against a wall in an incredibly difficult spot.

When I brought this to the attention of Mark, Dunja, and the Azari PM team, they were not willing to do anything about it.

2 - AZARI PM MISREPRESENTED THE POLICIES GOVERNING THE RENTAL FO THE UNIT; THE CC&RS DO NOT PERMIT LEASING OF PARKING SPOTS TO NON-RESIDENTS.

Before leasing, I asked about the CC&Rs to confirm leasing of parking was permitted. Dunja at Azari specifically confirmed that the HOA authorized them to lease the parking to a nonresident. I contacted the Building Manager, Sergei Bokov of Action Property Management, who confirmed that it is a violation of the building's CC&Rs to lease parking to an individual who does not reside in the building.

This put me at risk and meant that any issues I encountered - such as the above towing - I had zero support from the building.

3 - AZARI FAILED TO PROVIDE ACCESS UNTIL FIVE DAYS AFTER LEASE

My lease began on November 30,2017 and Azari began charging me that same day. However, they did not provide me the garage door remote until December 5. This meant a full business week into our lease without access to the property.

4 - AZARI HAS CONTINUED TO SEND ME INACCURATE BILLS

Given that access to the property was not provided until 5 days into the lease, I have asked for these 5 days to be credited several times, and they have ignored all of my requests and continue to invoice me for these days. My account is paid in full, yet there is still an outstanding balance of $234.14 reflected in the online portal, which is incorrect.

5 - MARK HAS PROVIDED POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INCONSIDERATE TREATMENT

Throughout our relationship, Mark and Dunja have been unfriendly, rude, and downright mean.

First, after wasting a day to find backup parking and trying to deal with nearing being towed, Mark and Dunja provided no empathy, understanding, or compensation for the time and hassle. I don't think the word 'sorry' has ever been uttered from their mouths.

Second, when they had the garage door remote available, they made me pick it up at their office. This is despite the fact that they made an error and did not have the garage remote available at the start of the lease, which one would have thought would make them more generous.

Third, I received a $200 fine for driving away before the garage door was fully closed in the first week I parked in the building. They provided no warning before assessing the fine. I understand the importance of these rules, but I believe it is important to clearly explain these rules at the start of the lease.

Fourth, I have on multiple occasions asked for a copy of the rules of the building, especially in light of the surprise fines. They have refused.

I've rented a beautiful loft in the Mission with Azari since 2010. The Azari team has been a pleasure to work with. They are very responsive and organized. The online tools available to make payments as well as the occasional service request are incredibly convenient. Anything request I have made has been treated seriously and handled very professionally. I couldn't make a stronger recommendation. This is a great group of people.

Manzar, Genie, Jenny and the team deserve more than the five stars available. They managed a very delicate situation, balancing needs of neighbors and tenants to result in a positive outcome for all involved. The team is uber-responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. They demonstrate an outstanding ability to mediate, communicate and drive results.

I have been Azari PM’s client since 2010 and they have been actively managing my condo/town house in SF like their own investment. I’m really appreciated for their great service, especially Genie, Cindi, Mark & Dunja; they are very nice and prompt responsive, to whatever my requests or from the tenants. I’ll recommend their services to all of my friends who need the property management.
