Azul Tequila Mexican Bar & Grill

Ordered a fish taco, which was a lunch special and came with beans and rice. Unfortunately, there was no flavor in the food whatsoever. We had a large group and a few ordered chicken or steak tacos and enjoyed the food, so maybe it was just what I ordered! Service was on the slow side and not attentive at all.

The manager is the best of all restaurants I've ever been. This man knows customer needs and service and takes emeedate action to take care of you. He socialize with everyone. I'll always come back and brag about the good time and service.

Cute place, but the food wasn't great. The shrimp ceviche was mostly huge chunks of red onion, and the tortilla soup was cold and bland. I'm hoping the rest of the menu is better. I did like the menu selections, and my pina colada was awesome.

The prices are amazing for the amount of food provided. Not only is the food good, but the drinks are also strong which is how I could tell the bartenders do not measure their pours. One margarita is sufficient for drivers. The staff is also very attentive and friendly considering the volume of the restaurant. This is a great place to return.

We both had their Street Taco plates and House Margaritas. They really hit the spot after a long days drive from Redding. Will definitely be back.

Fairly average despite it's popularity. Atmosphere, and drinks are the strong points of this bar and grill. Food neither underwhelmed nor overwhelmed; i was just whelmed.

I was absolutely starving when I arrived at Azul for dinner. I was leaving irvine that night to drive home in washington and decided I would like a full stomach for my long drive home. I waited for almost half an hour after ordering, despite the people arriving after me receiving their food almost immediately after being sat. Then when the food finally did get there, the quality was very poor. I am never one to turn down food and if you view my profile you will see I always try to find ways to praise resturaunts. Unfortunately, Azul is missing the LOVE aspect of cooking. The service is poor, the overall way the business is being run seems sloppy and quite unorganized. I will not be returning.

This was my first time eating here and it was amazing! True Mexican food! Wonderful taste, atmosphere and service! Definitely a great place to try!

This place was a home run! The food was great and affordable! The help was awesome! And the food came out fast absolutely loved it!

Margaritas are ok, but given the name of their establishment, I'd expect them to be much better. I really came for their Camarones a la Diabla. This dish is amazing at times, but sometimes is a miss. There should be consistency.

Nice place, good atmosphere but the food was not the best. Chicken fajitas were bland, my rice was dry and the tortilla chips were stale. The server brought my brother's burrito and came back 3 minutes later asking if it was ok for him to take the burrito back to heat it up. Dessert was good but we won't be going back.

I hate to say this because this used to be one of my favorite Mexican food spots but this was the last and final straw. It has fallen off completely. Be ready to wait for everything because the restaurant is severely under staffed. I found myself trying to flag down anyone for a simple drink refill. I couldn't even find someone to get my bill. The food also is now sub par. My last meal was a combo plate with a Chile relleno, Chile Verde, and Chile Colorado. The meat was chewy and tuff and the Chile relleno was soggy. RIP Azul Tequila

Food is delicious but service is horrible. We were at the restaurant for 2 hours. Not by choice, but because it took forever for the waiters to take our orders for our drinks and food and the wait for our food was so long! The staff was friendly tho.

Great spot and quality service but right now.stay away from this place. Sat there waiting for a call-in order on a Wednesday night for 1 hour and 30 minutes after they said 45 minutes and still never received the order. They were unapologetic and it was very disappointing so requested a refund which took 15 minutes as well. We wound up ordering from La Cocina and picked up in 20 the same night. They need to get their stuff together before I return.

Health department should check them out! It is not sanitary!
*Fingerprints on tables, chairs and bathroom was not clean either.
*Dusty everything in there. Scummy surfaces.
*They brought a bowl of chips that had been previously used as it had dipping sauce in a couple of chips!
*Chips were old and tough.
*My fork was used too.
*My taquitos were deep-fried so crispy that I cut my gums trying to eat them.
*Poor service.
*One of the workers was refilling a spray bottle and spilled contents over the bottle onto the floor and just left the fluid on the floor. Hazzard.

The only positive thing I found was the front door makes a good exit door!
DO NOT ENTER would be appropriate.

Service was a little slow, but I have no idea how well staffed or busy behind the scenes they are, so I won't hold that against them. We weren't in a hurry anyway. Food and atmosphere was great. We sat on the patio because the dining room was a bit loud after a long day. The bean dip they serve with the chips was delicious, and the salsa had just the right amount of heat. My only real complaint is that it would be nice to have more protein options for vegetarians than just beans. Something like Impossible, Beyond or mock pork made from jackfruit would be nice. If you're looking for a place to eat near Magic Mountain that isn't your typical fast food joint, and is walking distance from the hotels across the freeway, this is a perfect choice.

So happy with this place! We stayed at the best western right by it and we were walking distance from it and it was so yummy! Their pastor tacos were incredible and our waiter was so sweet and kind! Definitely going back this trip

Placed online order, said it’d be ready in 30 minutes. Showed up and waited an additional 30 minutes for order to be ready. We only ordered 2 items, this is the THIRD time they’ve done this. Service has gone downhill, I won’t be returning. Waste of my time and money.
