I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding outfit than what Anu designed.

Being queer, I felt frustrated by the lack of Indian wedding outfit options that aligned with my gender expression. Nothing on the internet seemed representative of what I wanted to wear. It was even harder to shop in person as I didn’t know which stores would be homophobic or which stores would welcome me.

Finding B Anu Designs was like finding a beacon of light. Anu’s team was welcoming and made me feel safe. She was able to capture the essence of my vision and transform it into something beautiful. I wanted something masculine but extremely feminine at the same time. I wanted something traditional but also modern. I wanted an outfit that I could feel gorgeous in and comfortable. Anu was able to deliver that and much more.

In addition to my wedding outfit, Anu designed a series of outfits for me and my wife to wear at my sister’s wedding. We wanted something coordinating in an obvious, but elegant way. Anu was able to deliver just that with our reception outfits.

Throughout the process, I do wish there was more communication during the design phase. One of the blouses came back with a design we were not so fond of. We had voiced this concern to Anu and she listened and responded immediately. She was able to quickly rectify the situation and assuage our anxiety. Anu is always open to feedback and looking to improve.

Overall, I am very satisfied with B Anu Designs. She is very talented. If you’re queer and none of the outfits seem to be what you want, you can trust Anu to design it for you!

I worked with Anu as a bride from the northeast who was trying to find and design my perfect bridal outfit. From the beginning she was extremely clear-cut and open with communication and above all gave her honest opinions on what would and what would not align with my visions rather than just trying to sell me on whatever the first thing I picked up was.

When I finally selected my lehenga, we went through a few iterations of sending color swatches back and forth until I picked the color that was perfect for me. Everything was reliable and efficient and was exactly what a bride needs when planning a wedding; stressless. I cannot recommend Anu enough!

Anu was very helpful in helping me decide what to wear at my upcoming wedding. They had a great selection of styles and colors. They worked with me to find something that was best suited to my taste and wedding theme.

Mother-of-the-bride lehenga! Gorgeous customized lehenga with choli and chunni designed by BAnuDesigns for my daughter’s wedding in December. For the reception I was keen to wear an elegant, classy lehenga but couldn’t visualize or even describe more than that. When I walked into Anu’s boutique and looked around, I noticed this gorgeous ethnic style lehenga but not so-much the choli and chunni with it. Together we designed this maroon raw silk choli with the maroon organza chunni - minimal and sophisticated! I styled them with my own wedding gold tika, choker, karas and earrings. Loved wearing and getting the fabulous compliments. Thanks, Anu!

Anu was sooo amazing to work with, not only did she create beautiful outfits for us, but she took the time to listen to our vision. She always answered every txt message and phone call and always made us feel like family, we appreciate her and her team sooo much and look forward to working with her again

Stay away from B Anu designs, she is literally the worst. Acts so sweet when you first meet her and like someone else on here said too she says she will communicate with you throughout the whole process, but we booked her a little over a year before our wedding and after deciding to work with her and after giving her the deposits, she ghosted us for months. We literally had no idea what was going on with our outfits. She finally replied a month before the wedding, the outfits came 2 weeks before our wedding and despite her taking the measurements herself none of the outfits fit and we had to scramble to find someone to get them fixed. Groom's outfit didn't even get fixed at all because there was no time and nobody to fix it. Worst experience ever. She advertises that she can customize any outfits but that is a lie. Also seems like she gives herself great reviews from fake accounts on here, thru IG, and on Yelp so just be aware guys! We fell for it, just be cautious. Take your business elsewhere.

I would've love to work with B Anu designs as their designs were great but the designer was very hard to get in touch with. Didnt call me at our discussed appointment time and never answered my calls either. Replied to texts either vaguely or days late.
I suspect it was because my budget may have been low, so if your budget isn't big, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Every gown is crafted in elegance and with the highest standards of design. Anu, the designer pay attention to every detail to go above all expectations of her clients.

Found the perfect outfit for my daughter, excellent customer service, Anu went above and beyond to make me comfortable and help me find the ultimate outfit! Highly recommended!

The brand seemed to be good and hence we tried Banu for the wedding. The designs are above average for sure, however Banu sincerely lacks basic communications and empathy with the customer. The delivery of Lehenga was late. When we went to collect the wedding Lehenga, Banu did not have the basic courtesy to wrap the Lehenga and deliver. Wedding is more or less a once a lifetime experience, which could have been definitely better if we would have gone with anyone but Banu!

She is decent with her work. But really the worst when it comes to communication with her clients. She would say anything to get the business but once when it comes to actually communicating about progress or delivery or quality of delivery, she is going to disappoint you for sure. I am saying all this as it happened to my now wife and she was in stress all the time for her bridal lehnga. Hence, I do not recommend her at all.

I got married last August and I had Anu design majority of my wedding outfits. As wedding planning is already super stressful I wanted someone who would be a one stop shop for me.

The design of my reception outfit by B Anu Designs left all my guests stunned, to say the least. Let's first start off with where it all began. When you first enter B Anu's studio, the options are endless. All of B Anu collection designs are unique, intricate, and inspiring. She has everything, from ethnic occasion outfit designs, to all your wedding dream looks. Even better is the amazing Owner and CEO herself, Anu Batra. Anu has the most welcoming, sweet and creative energy to her. I couldn't help but trust Anu with my vision and dream dress. She gives her undivided attention and a very customized experience.

I was a very picky bride and she understood that right away. I wanted to wear black for my reception, as a statement color. Anu encouraged me not to wear a solid black dress. Her expertise lead us to customize the lehenga you see below. We picked copper and black as the tones, lots of sparkle, detachable shoulder dupatta attachments, and a lehenga with lots of movement. Anu and the whole B Anu team executed this assignment flawlessly. The lehenga not only fit like a glove, it was everything I wanted and more. As a recent B Anu Designs groom, I can say I had the best team working on my wedding sherwani. The owner and creative mind, Anu, customized my sherwani exactly to my liking.
