15Visited here a couple times, and the queue was always out the door. Well deserved though, amazing pastries and coffees!
Service isn't the best the way they take orders and charge will have you waiting for the person in front of you yesterday someone in front of me got on their phone so I went around them only to be told I had to wait.people should be ready and not hold up the line, which gets very long due to these pastries being delicious
This is probably my favorite bakery in the city. The Kough Ammans are great, but they're my least favorite item.thats how good everything else is. I really enjoy their citrus tart and cookies. The ham and cheese croissant is so tasty, flaky, and unique. They put a bechamel on top so it's very rich and decadent. My favorite is probably the chocolate banana almond almond croissant.the banana is a nice touch, and the almond is nicely done. And surprisingly, it isn't too sweet at all. Those are my favs but you can't go wrong with anything here tbh.
Pastries to die for. Get there right at opening or within 30 mins before closing for minimal lines.
There are also branches in Korea such as Mapo Gongdeok branch.
It's a great bread restaurant. It's a good place to visit
The queen aman is especially delicious.
One of the places I always stop by when I’m in town! Their kouign amann needs no additional praise and their chocolate chip cookies are a hidden (compared to their kouign amann) gem!
Last I visited was on a Saturday in September around 8am and saw no lines!
I am quite sure everything is amazing here!
But let's talk about the quiche. Holy cow! I don't know what they do, but the egg custard in it is such a perfect silky texture!
I followed several of my friends' suggestions to be here. I was asking around that "what is your best almond croissant in your mind " and my friend said b. Patisserie. Sadly, when I was here at 4 PM on first Saturday of September 2023, no croissants left. I will try to come earlier next time on the weekdays.
I have to tell you this place is packed on the weekend, and people are just keep coming one another. But the whole street is not that many people, b. Patisserie is just like a magnet drew everyone here.
One mistake I found out after head home, I bought 8 items, but maybe the cashier just did it too fast and it became 9 items on my receipt when I checked out so pls remember to check your receipt right away after you purchased.
Besides this, everything is wonderful.
Awesome vibe.
Super friendly staff.
The whole bakery looks energetic and happy.
Most important of all, the price is only 2/3 compares to downtown SF.
Food was good. Dirty chai was amazing
But whoever is the Asian cashier is literally very impatient.
Will try a different day
Easily the best bakery in San Francisco, I find myself coming here every now and then and the quality hasn’t changed. Be prepared for a line as they tend to be a popular stop for many but it’s worth it. Things move fast and tables turn over quickly so I was able to grab one inside easily.
There’s so many delicious options to chose from but the Kouign-amanns are my favorite (any flavor). You should also try the almond croissants here, they are just as good if not better than Arsicault (another popular SF bakery).
Will definitely be back again for another visit!
Chocolate croissant is good. It has a sweet crust on top, but it's very good. In my opinion better than Arsicault. The coffee is very good too and there is space to sit.
We visited b.patisserie for the first time and immediately fell in love with this place. Desserts are unsurpassedly delicious. Latte vanilla coffee is love The staff is very friendly and pleasant)
They serve quickly and are always smiling. I sincerely recommend starting your morning right here. The mood is guaranteed for the whole day
Highly recommend. In addition to their delicious baked items, try their black iced coffee without milk! You will love it.
I repeat, do not add cream/milk
Got a fruit tart and kouign amann (original and chocolate).
Fruit tart filling was much too sweet but good flavor and tasty fruit. Cost $7, expesnive but tasted the best.
Kouign amann was a bit dense and stale, also very sweet (we ordered to go and didn't heat it up, but still ate it around 10 mins after purchasing). Was hoping for something more flakey and buttery and less syrupy.
Also ordered passionfruit drink and cortado. Coffee is decent and expected for around $4.50 though a little sour.
Pictured in the box also ordered a chocolate crossaint (seems more like a cake just by looking) and a regular croissant, although have not yet tried.
Ever since I stumbled upon this diamond 5 years ago when I saw a line of patient patrons and decided to join it, thinking whatever I’m about to eat must be something worth the wait, my life has changed for the better. B. Pat is by far the best bakery I have visited, not just in SF either. Ever since I tried their Kouign-amann I have been using it as the gold standard against all other Kouign-amanns I have found, but none have come close. Now that I live walking distance, I look forward to coming here and bringing all my friends and family so they too can enjoy this delightful dough
