So I was craving a cupcake and I’m so glad this spot is down the street from me, I try there peanut butter one and omg delicious nice and moist!

Baby cakes did it again. Got a beautiful round 10” cake and 6 dozen cupcakes. They were a hit!

I bought a Tres Leches cupcake from here and noticed it tasted funky and was extremely dry. I cut it open in the middle and found it filled with mold. I went back and got a refund, but hopefully I don't get sick from food poisoning.

We decided on cupcakes instead of a wedding cake and it was super popular and beautiful. We highly recommend going outside the box! Tasty and pretty! Thank you.

First time visiting. Went on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm. I was craving something velvety. I have a few bakery favorites but I am always looking forward to next velvety surprise so I decided to visit this bakery to try a new spin. As soon as I entered I was greeted and my order was taken. I ordered a total of 5 cupcakes: 3 velvet and 2 black bottoms. Both was really good. Their velvet I felt was on the heavy side; it didn’t immediately melt in my mouth like I was expecting but it always surprised my taste buds which I needed. I highly recommend and I will return.

We ordered a 3 tiered cake for our wedding 2 months ago. Based on all the reviews and recommendations we had high expectations. Unfortunately, the cake was the disappointment of our wedding. The cake was DRY and stale …tasted like it was made days prior to our wedding. We bought the sample cupcakes and ordered the pistachio for one tier, baby cake flavor for another tier… and just the white cake for the other tier. All were a disappointment, we didn’t even want the left over tier. Straight to the trash.

I posted this on Yelp, but I don’t see that it posted, so I’m posting here.my fiancé and I ordered a sample box for a wedding cake tasting and we got 6 flavors and purchased an additional tiramisu cupcake.we read some of the reviews beforehand and thought that since there were more good reviews than bad, they couldn't be THAT bad.we were wrong.the samples were incredibly dry, it was like they were made several days prior to us picking up.some were hard on the outside like they had been over cooked.the tiramisu cupcake we got was awful, it was dry, and crusty, and the icing was thick and had a horrible consistency.not to mention it didn't taste like tiramisu at all, not even a hint.
I was emailing someone from the sales team named "Chris" from when we first ordered the box and I had asked how far in advance they bake the cakes because ours were very dry.this was his response. "Good morning Johnny, typically 24/48 hours prior to pickup. This is honestly the first time we have heard this, but we do have new bakers in the kitchen. It is possible one of the bakers missed a prep step or some ingredients. Would you like us to order a new complimentary sample pack for you? If so, we have them ready 72 hours from the order date.

I emailed back with screenshots of the very recent negative reviews stating their cakes were very dry and stating that it was hard to believe this is the first time they've heard this.
On top of having awful cupcakes, they're liars too apparently.
He ignored the screenshots and wished us luck.
Lol not worth it, don't waste your money here. I would not recommend getting anything here.

Honestly - the cupcakes are dry and aren’t really that good. Like, I’ve tried this place like 3 times and I just can’t seem to like it. My cousin introduced me to Sprinkles cupcakes is La Jolla…. Now those are cupcakes. But I mean - that’s just me… but for those that do like their cupcakes… enjoy

Wonderful cupcakes. We tried several flavors, all were so delicious. The guy working in the store was so super friendly.

I am obsessed with The Salted Caramel and Vanilla Fudge:)

So yummy. And super nice. Stopped by for my daughter's birthday. Will totally be back.

Sadly I have to agree with a lot of the people on here that are saying the cupcakes are very dry.
I absolutely love a good cupcake and have had these cupcakes several times. It’s really been hit and miss so we’ve decided not to return. When you’re paying $4 for a cupcake it Has to be fresh & moist every time! See ya baby!

This place is incredibly unapologetic with poor communication. I sent over inspiration photos for my birthday cake and agreed to an amethyst color cake with some simple decorations and got a green, unattractive cake. My friend is going to try to salvage the design but this place doesn’t deserve its current ratings. Poor communication and didn’t even try to make it right. Despite their response below, their email was NOT clear and they did not state “No Design”. An invoice is generally a basic description of something, no details, and isn’t a communication tool. Call your customers and make sure they understand. It’s sheer laziness and clearly they don’t care about their customer experience. Get your birthday cakes somewhere else or risk getting a totally random cake design.

Update: We added flowers to the cake to make it presentable and then cut it and it was like a hard butter cream that was a bit to sweet, the cake itself was just okay (could have bought at a store), and the raspberry “layer” I requested inside was barely there/a joke and you can see what I mean from the picture. The shop has never apologized/continues to blame the customer. It’s laughable at this point because it was just such a bad experience.

Carrot cake cupcake frosting was not sweetened or flavored. It had plain cream cheese on it with no flavor or sweetener. It was quite nasty as far as frosting. I contacted Babycakes and they stated it tastes normal. Since I buy this one often, it does not taste right. I will not buy the Carrot cake cupcake ever again. I cannot recommend this cupcake

The frosting on the cupcakes are delicious but I’ve been there multiple times and they are always dry. I just had the salted caramel and It was like they forgot to measure the salt it burned my mouth. Probably won’t be going back after having so many sub par sweets.

We ordered cupcakes for our twin girls' first birthday and they were PERFECT! I wish I had ordered from here sooner for our oldest daughter's birthdays. I cannot recommend them enough for any celebration or occasion or just to treat yourself!

I love a good cupcake but was not impressed by these! I stopped in to see what was available, I was headed toward the salted caramel but got pulled away by the tiramisu cupcake. Unfortunately, it was a dry cupcake and the filling and frosting were underwhelming. I did not taste any coffee in this cupcake.
Maybe another choice would have been better.

There is absolutely nothing on the menu that isn't scrumptious. I recommend Babycakes to everyone that asks me for bakery.

Amazing cupcakes my favorite by far. The baby cake one is amazing as it has some cookie dough in the middle. Also big fan of the Boston cream cupcake and the tres leches.
Loved them so much I had to share and ordered a huge platter of them for a family party. Very accommodating

The staff was so helpful in explaining their different cakes and sizes available. And they have an abundance of cakes, so no need to order in advance. Just walk in and take away!
