Lots of awesome high end kicks, apparel and collectibles. I’m mostly interested in the latter and they had plenty on display. Most of it was limited to Medicom bearbrick stuff but there were some stand out pieces I never saw before.

Ordered these from bait of California since I couldn’t find them in nyc…took about a week to come in…worth the wait!

MJ did a Excellent job helping me find a pair of comfortable dansko for work. As a nurse, we can be very hard on shoes as well as our feet. MJ was very informative and efficient! 2 qualities nurses really appreciate. MJ was also the first to greet me as I stood in the entrance of the store! Great job MJ! You are an asset. After you place a order they contact you asking for confidential documents and information. They hold your order hostage and demand you send them the info or they will cancel your order.

I have been going to BAIT and seeing MJ for the past year and it has been a phenomenal life changing experience for me and my two sons. The nuance and attention to detail MJ provides is bar none to any shoe store or to the service a podiatrist can provide.

OK, they are definitely a little bit overpriced. But what do you expect of a storefront on ninth and Irving in the most wealthy city in the nation?

Mark takes you through all the issues with your foot and your step and provides you some great options. They are incredibly knowledgeable and know exactly what you need for your optimal run.

This is my favorite place to get every kind of shoe. This location on Union Square is the best fashion wise as the inventory here is the best for being on trend.

I can not overstate what a good idea it is to buy running shoes from an independently owned store that specializes in athletic footwear and will take the time to measure your feet, assess your gait, listen to your needs and guide you to the right pair.

From Converse sneakers to dressy handmade fine Italian leather shoes and boots, the Shoe Parlor has it all. Check out their website then walk in and test out your shoe before making a purchase. Doesn't get any better than that.

So I went to this location and they cheerfully let me exchange my painful shoes (despite them having some wear already) with a brand new, equally nice comfy pair. My pain is gone! No questions asked, no hard time.
On top of it I got a free pair of sandals since they gave you $50 off for being a regular customer here and there.
So BAIT I am a lifelong customer. I'd just prefer to go to the Brentwood flagship.

A great staff that is very knowledgeable about proper running shoes. They perform a thorough evaluation and make some great suggestions.
