Baja California Tacos reviews
19So I personally lived in Baja for years and let me tell you it was a wonderful taste of home. Amazing fish and shrimp tacos hands down of of the best representations of Baja style iv had in years.
This place serves up some tasty, affordable tacos without all the bells and whistles. They provide an array of condiments that you can garnish with your tacos as well from radish to jalapeños. Can’t wait to try them again when I’m in town again!
Everytime I try something new here I'll get cravings to have it again within the next week. Definitely some of the best Mexican food you can buy! And it's cheap enough to keep coming back!
Not sure why it feels weird that the best churros and aguachile I’ve ever had are from a place called Baja California Tacos but that is indeed the case
Food was okay. I got the aguachile plate for $13.99 and there was only 5 shrimp in the plate. It was mostly onions and cucumbers. I figured a plate would have more shrimp than a tostada I guess I was wrong. Unfortunately there was also a long hair in my plate and it couldn’t had been mine since I have short hair. The cook doesn’t wear a hair net and wasn’t wearing gloves. Cleanliness looks questionable. Wouldn’t recommend eating here.
Best place for shrimp tacos or burritos. This place is a total dive and you could just drive by and think "meh, " but their shrimp burrito is one of best I've ever had. It is definitely the closest I've had in the LA area. Apart from eating in Mexico most places can't compare but this place does! My mouth is watering just thinking about
Highly recommend, i never disappoint when buying food from here, sorry about the other people complaining, maybe a bad day idk
Their fish tacos — note, not grilled fish tacos, just fish tacos — are incredible. I highly recommend having them with the pickled onions and the spicy salsa.
They have some of the best fish tacos. Go on a Wednesday to try them out when they have them on special. I also tried the ceviche tostada's and tasted great. Be sure to get all the fixings: salsa (two kinds), radishes, limes, and jalapenos.
There fish shrimp tacos are ok.but come on you call this a large i remember when large was bigger than my drink.bigger cups i didnt even get full.im back repost a pic of what a actual cocktail should look like for the price this is a medium imagine a large i paid 14$. The large at bajas is more pricey less meat
It's not a very good place over priced.bathroom not clean.tells u everything
U replay for the price but not about the not clean bathrooms.should I check the website about bathrooms been cleaned aswell.
My sister and I typically order their shrimp bowl (which we LOVE). Their beans and rice actually taste authentic. As a Hispanic it’s hard to find Mexican food I genuinely enjoy (that isn’t my mothers). Shrimp tastes great and their shrimp tacos are also very good.
I’m not sure why other people dislike their food.overall the food is good, filling, and decently priced.:)
Driving by you won't look twice. Once inside it feels like a hole in the wall. You look at the menu and aren't sure what to try. Went here with a friend who was telling me I had to get the fish and shrimp tacos. We ordered 5 of each, and a side of rice and beans. There's a easy to miss salsa bar to the left of the register. You sit at your table and wait a fair amount of time for the food. Your order is called and now you have in front of you a meal you'll have on your taste buds forever. Home made tortillas and chips. Yes they make their chips here. The salsa is authentic with flavors that work in harmony with your hot chips. The tacos are a master piece. They use their own breading for the fish and shrimp. The fish tastes freshly caught and is tender. The salsa crema and veggies on your taco all blend so well you can taste each part of it on their own. The rice and beans are like most Latin kids had growing up. I will come back here time and time again because the food was beyond what I could have expected from an unassuming hole in the wall on a very busy street in Los Angeles.
I placed an order online since it said it was open. I got charged and got a confirmation so I walked down to pick up my order and saw a handwritten “closed for maintenance” sign on the door. The guy said I can get a refund online but there wasn’t any option todo so online. So I got charged and didn’t get any food or refund.
We got fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and a fish burrito here. Oh and a cup of ceviche. The ceviche was not very good. But otherwise things were tasty - the only negative was that they use a ton of mayonnaise (or some sorta cream) in their tacos and burritos.
Very inexpensive food. Most tacos are around $3 and the burrito was about $7 or $8.
Me and my co-workers order fish tacos every Wednesday they are so delicious! Santos the cashier is super nice! We place our order by phone and when we pick it up is always ready. We love this place! Food is delicious and price is so affordable. I highly recommend it!
Serving fish realness! Bone-suckingly delectable fried mojarra, hefty fish and shrimp tacos, delicious salsa roja. Can’t beat it for the price. Highly recommend!
Food is okay. Service is fast. Prices are decent.
Their nachos (with nacho sauce) is probably their best thing. And their potato tacos are also very very good (although a little pricey).
My wife loves their fish tacos, but I'm not such a big fan. It's close and reasonable.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. No matter how far ahead you call in advance they will not have your order ready or will give it away. So what’s the point. Food quality has declined from when they first opened and had the 99 cent special. Every time I give chance after chance and I regret coming here because of their horribly slow service and disorganized system.
