Baja Fresh Mexican Grill reviews
24The food is great, but the service is horrible. It took about 7 minutes to place my order (there were two people in front of me). After placing my order I have been waiting 24 minutes for a single burrito and it still isn't ready. Still waiting.
This is a good location been coming here for years food is very consistently high quality just wish they would bring the drink machine back so we can go back to normal and make my own ice tea
On Tuesday, March 23m I placed an order for $43.06 at 6: 29pm. It was to be delivered at 7: 30pm. It never arrived. I contacted the store at 7: 45pm to inform them. They acted like I was lying. They said they weren't responsible for it even though I ordered through their website, got an email from them saying my food arrived, and my order status on their site stated my food arrived. It never did. I was told to call back the next day at 11am to speak with Caludia. When I called, I was told that Claudia was out until Friday. Again, I was told they weren't responsible. I never received notification from a driver or a delivery service. I don't know what service was supposed to deliver. The two people I have spoken to have no clue WHO picked up my food to deliver it. They have no contact information for me. I tried calling today (Friday) to speak to Claudia. I was told she wouldn't be in until 4pm.
I have been cheated out of $43.06 and been forced to waste my time calling this store 3 different times only be told "not our fault. " I'm wondering if I need to seek legal help to get my money back. I anxiously await hearing from Claudia. I will not be eating at Baja Fresh ever again. In the last year, I swear, nearly 50% of take-out/delivery orders I've made have been incorrect. Maybe the food industry has a hard time keeping thorough workers employed. But this is the first time that more than having an incorrect order, I paid for nothing more than the trouble of having to try to get my money back and not getting an order. I even filled out the Baja Fresh survey that said it would contact me in 24 hours. That was 36 hours ago. Extremely disappointed in this situation. Maybe Baja Fresh doesn't know where my order went, but I know where my money went-to Baja Fresh. Fix this situation, and I will remove this review. Thank you for your time.
I was a fan of this place for the longest time, they offered decent food, for a decent price, and friendly service. My last experience at the Tustin marketplace was bad. I ordered the food and prepaid online, then went 30 minutes later to pick it up. When I arrived, I could clearly see my order bagged and ready for pickup on the table next to the cashier, however the guy in charge this day (an old Hispanic man), refused to acknowledge my presence, and insisted on taking phone orders, and fulfilling other walk in customers orders while my food which I paid for was sitting there and getting cold. 15 minutes later, after I called him out on his behavior, he replied rudely and got all defensive, without a single apology. I understand that restaurants are understaffed these days, but all that dude had to do was to hand me my order which just sitting next to the register.
I always enjoyed Baja Fresh food, but food at this location is terrible. I just ordered enchiladas and rice bowl with chicken.they both are stale and smells pretty bad when I open the box and I had put them straight into trash. They are not making it fresh. It is not worth it.
Angie (Sorry if that was misspelled) was absolutely the nicest employee I've encountered in a long time!
She made sure we were very well taken care of and provided excellent customer support.
Great visit!
Placed an order online for pickup. They have it to somebody else and On top of it had the guts to keep arguing with me.
Nothing bad to say about this place. Food is fresh the restaurant is clean price and proportions are fair. Good for families and meetings.
They would not serve you unless you had a face mask. HEY! Baja Fresh are you supplying the masks
Never go back.
I came for my rice (because it’s the only place the rice has the exact taste and flavor of the rice we place in the table in MX everyday for our families) and there she was, Claudia, who always provides the best customer service and beyond! Always nice to see that pretty girl around here! She made my day bright! Thank you, Clau!
It is no longer corporate owned but a franchise. Lady wanted to charge me for a take home container. The gentleman was better. Menu price is up but the quality is better than when it first became a franchise.
Excellent burritos with a huge salsa bar. Generous portions with chips on the side. Friendly staff.
I ordered a taco and was given two choices of the different kinds. I asked for an explanation of the tacos the cashier just told me one and said he didn't know the other one. Just stood there waiting for me to order.
Great location, same good quality food. Salsa bar us fabulous. Wonderful place to stop by and grab a bite if you're at the Market Place shopping or just spend a relaxing afternoon. The open food court is clean with beautiful scenaries.
Order was missing a whole meal. Service was not great at all. Food that actually qas there was great.
The worst rice ever! Textured like plastic and totally tasteless, the beef was like rags, unchewable. The place was dirty and the employees in distress
I love this place and the Tex Mex casual food they offer. Especially the trio fish taco plate and the guacamole dip. The self-serve salsa bar offers different kinds of sauces, ranging from mild to fiery hot.
Saturday afternoon must be training time. I never saw so much confusion about four people's orders. "Ch"eese nachos are not the same as "ch"icken nachos. Three of the four employees should not disappear into the back room all at the same time as soon as a bunch of customers come in. The order of service should be the same as the order the customers come in. The food was good though.
The cashier kept sending me to the next register. Then i went to the middle register. It was my turn after my mother who was ordering in front of me. She proceded to ask the woman behind me if i was next. Who told her i was there before her. I walked out.
This is a very busy Baja fresh location, specially on friday nights and the weekend; however, the staffbis very fast and accurate with the orders.
