It's a perfect place for family to dine and the only thing is issue is this that the space is limited and also it needs more Improvement wall pictures and more space in the dining area the food is excellent the service is excellent only the environment of the restaurant need to be changed

Probably the most authentic Sri Lankan food taste. Excellent food but everytime I call food was never ready to go out. Expect long wait times. Owners could invest more time to clean up the front of the store, hence four stars.

I think someone else mentioned this in their review. Rice and curry packets are so expensive and I don’t mind it. However, they try to stuff a ton of fries and very little curry, which is disappointing after all the money you spend and I end up throwing out the rice.

They have a delicious lunch buffet on Saturday & Sunday starring at 11 a.m. And an appa (hoppper) buffet Friday & Saturday evenings.

I just had the lunch buffet and it was excellent.
I only wish they would not offer single-use disposable plastic for the cups and eating utensils.

Waiting time is a bit much, but the food is excellent. My favorite is the chicken kothu as a main dish. It is very spicy and takes me more than 1 sitting to finish because there is a large portion, but it tastes very nice. I like variety as the kothu also comes in pork, lamb, and fish. Another one of my favorites is fish buns and chicken rolls. The fish buns are excellent, not spicy at all, very delicious. All they would have to improve is their parking spaces as there is limited.

It’s a no frills over the counter spot for seriously good and authentic Sri Lankan food. If you are looking for a spicy take on curry with an South Asian island twist, coke here! The folks are very hospitable too.

Love the authentic Sri Lankan food served here. Been visiting this place every time we visit LA. It’s a must go place if you are craving the best Sri Lankan food in the greater Los Angeles area. The staff here are also super nice and helpful in making sure we get to try out the best food available. They also have a store that sells large selection of Sri Lankan groceries at a fraction of what others charge. Highly recommend visiting this place.

Incredible traditional Sri Lankan food. Disregard the name of this place because I have never ordered Mexican food or sub sandwiches before- I came here for the Sri Lankan food!
This is one of only 2 places in the Valley that serve Sri Lankan food so it's a rare gem! (I like the other place a lot too. It's called Apey Kade.)
Be prepared for a high spice level (so if you eat spicy Thai food, you'll be fine), but it's always delicious and full of flavor.
I'm also gluten-free and have never had a problem eating this food. There are meat, fish, and vegetarian options here. My go-to order is Rice & Curry. It's a delicious full plate of white rice and curried vegetables. You can add a meat option too, or just order vegetarian. The thin crackers (papadam) that come with the meal are GF too.
I always go back to this place! Hope they stay in business a while!

Ordered 10 chicken lamprais (not lump rice). Ready on time. On getting home in Pasadena found I had 10 BEEF lamprais. Too long a drive to take it back. Also too much rice being wasted

Friendly service, fish buns and other patties, rolls are tasty and prepared well. Sri Lankan rice and curries are wonderful. I'm regular customer.
