The nurse got an attitude at me for trying to explain something to her about my arms. She needs to understand that people know their bodies

Very disappointed in there service after blood drawn twice and EKG twice and after 4 hrs the doctor says I will be back never came back?

If you wanna be treated like a second class citizen I recommend you come to this hospital with the rude arrogant nurses in the ER

If I could provide 0 stars this place would receive it. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment! My experience as well as my grandpa’s at this hospital was incredibly disappointing. The staff exhibited rudeness and unprofessionalism, and it was evident from their expressions that they were unhappy to be there. The care provided to my Spanish-speaking grandfather was subpar, as there were no nurses available for translation assistance. The overall quality of care was terrible; it took an excessive amount of time for a simple request like providing water, and no one offered assistance when he needed to use the restroom. To make matters worse, upon his discharge, we received no communication or guidance regarding aftercare. Even when I sought clarification by reading the discharge papers and asking questions, I was met with annoyance, in her response and told to refer back to the papers after a short answer. Additionally, I had to specifically request assistance with changing my grandfather and obtaining a wheelchair to transport him to our car. The entire experience left me feeling uneasy and uncomfortable. I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs!

From the staff to the doctors the nurses everyone is very nice very professional the doctors truly care they're very thorough and they have great bedside manners will go again sometime not so soon I hope LOL

I was not impressed from the start I was very ill and could barely stand and I stated that to the check in clerk. My pain was in tolerable and informed him I needed to sit down and he told me to wait where I was anyway. He was not in the holiday spirit and a bit sarcastic. He gave me paperwork to fill out and I informed him I could not see very well as I didn't have my glasses. He said no there was no one to help me as they were running on a skeleton crew. He then paused and said hold on to the paperwork and when I get time I will help you. I have worked in Healthcare and at no time is it appropriate to give service in that manner. I was very satisfied with my two nurses they were kind compassionate prompt and heard me when I stated it hurt to stand and sit. They put me on a gurney so I could ease the pressure on my back. How ever the doctor was not compassionate and had bad bed side manner. He was thorough but made me sit up on the gurney just so he could ask verbal questions. I repeated how bad it hurt and said can I sit up when you need to physically exam me. He said no just sit and he was very short and kept cutting me off. I do wanna say again was thorough and I appreciate that I eventually got relief he did not just rush through. Would I go to the heart hospital again probably not.

The staff was very professional and caring. Will definitely tell everyone to come here for their medical needs.

The nurses were excellent! My recovery nurse went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. She really cared about me! My doctor and anesthesiologist was kind, answered all questions, & patient with me. The hospital was sparkling clean and the check in was so well organized. Thank you for taking such excellent care of me.

The doctor on duty had no concern on my issue I sat in the lobby with an IV in my hand for 4 hrs he talked to me for less then five mins after sitting in the lobby for 3 of the four hours the triage nurse called me in put some pain medicine in my IV and a lidocaine patch on me sat back in the lobby another hour finally the triage nurse called me back to start my discharge day there for few mins doctor came up to me and said go home and alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol. I have a pinched nerve in my neck I can not move my are my fingers are numb I can’t sleep I can’t function at work or drive cause I can’t turn my head this place was a joke

The Nurses here are amazing! They took care of me extremely well it was my first surgery and I was so scared and they made it extremely soothing and peaceful and made me feel super loved and cared for and comfortable they treated me like family my nurses were Kelly, Linda, Alexis and another nurse she was so amazing we laughed about alot of things I wish I knew her name she wore green scrubs and a head band I love you guys and the nurse who helped wheel me out she was super nice THANK YOU BAKERSFIELD HEALTH HOSPITAL FOR THE AMAZING STAFF YOU HAVE I WILL DEFINITELY BE SENDING SOME SORT OF GOODIES FOR YOU GUYS

Waited 3 hours in the waiting room with a horrific migraine.
Then nurses very slow.
Doctor was fine, X-rays and cat scans techs were great.

Treated very well. Everything went smooth. Pre op very quick everyone said what they were doing. Made sure I was ok with it. Then operation went farily fast. I didn't talk to anyone in the surgery as they were very busy and professional. Afterwords, the nurses were very concerned with my comfort. And health. They came and checked on me enough that I never once had to call. I'm happy with the hospital.

I can’t recommend this ER more. I’d visited Adventist’s main ER twice previously, both times I was misdiagnosed. Bakersfield Heart Hospital ER had me in quickly, and tests run within minutes of arrival. Adventist’s main ER had me wait hours. When it comes to chest pain or other heart-related issues, this is the place to go in town. I’m very grateful for the care I received.

Doctor was rude! He assumed I was drug seeking! Told me I take it you went through all your pain meds and that’s why you are here! No sir I actually have extra would you care to count them. He dismissed the severity of my pain! I told him it was beyond a 10 and nothing I did at home was helping. ER was my last resort. Who wants to even be at the ER. I was at wits end. He gave me my results to my ct scan and said maybe this could causing your pain and discharge me. He also left a patient literally passing stones crying in pain and said well just give him some morphine since the tordal isn’t apparently not working! He had the biggest attitude seemed so irritated. No bedside manners whatsoever!

The staff was completely sensitive to my needs. They quickly processed me and started accessing my situation. My nurse, Nikka, was thoroughly attentive and compassionate.

It was a great experience, the staff were so kind to my mom who had angiogram. We felt like being home, I appreciate all the amazing nurses and staff. 5 star experience truly mean it.

Very organized and helpful with any request. Doctor Gowd was very quick to respond on a serious heart monitor event.
