4I purchased a cake from the bakery and had to write my own message on it…then was asked to pay $2 for candles lol. I did the work, give me a candle on the house.
Good tamales, affordable too. You can get tamales or pastry here and a great smoothie or licuado or agua fresca from the little juice shop next to it. There is an insiyand an outside seating area. I make a stop at Fruitcake BART just to come here!
I called the day before my husband's 50th birthday after calling several places to have a carrot cake ready for the next day. The guy asked the baker if it was possible and she said yes. They were able to have it ready for 11: 00am. I arrived at this little place that did not resemble any bakery I've seen, so I was skeptical, but went ahead and completed my purchase. When I tell you this was one of the best carrot cake I've tasted. Full of flavor and moist. I would have made it myself, but we were coming from out of town. My mother in law and me makes killer carrot cake, but wanted a break, and glad we did. Great Job! Thank you!
