Balboa Island Ferry, Newport Beach CA

This is one of the best and most relaxing and luxurious way to get between Balboa Peninsula and Balboa Island. We need to make sure as residents we do whatever we can to preserve this unique transportation. It has so many special memories for me

Unfortunately I just found out that they want to remove the ferry hopefully and this place is not almost touristy

It's a nice place to be. There's always alot of people here plus it's right next to a great beach.

Love taking this Ferry. I always try to find street parking on Balboa Island and then take the ferry over to the Peninsula - great!

I've been coming here since I was a child and nothings really changed, which is the way we want it to be. We love Balboa!

Always a blast but super long lines on weekends. It breaks my heart that they're canceling the ferry!

Great little ferry. Because of some silly law, it is being threatened with closure. The ferry needs everyone's support.

Had a very awesome time here. Very clean. Only downside was very hard to find. Everything was amazing. Even got to swim with dolphins that just came up randomly and that was the best ever!

We dint see whale.bt had amazing ride.n they r having snacks n lunch for sale in boats.so it was great time n we saw many many dolphins.

Nice ferris wheel ride for the family. You get a great view of the water and boats from the top of the ride.

So much fun! Go for a boat ride for just a few bucks. Chat with the crew or fellow parents. Best value in Newport Beach!

Great way to get from Balboa to the peninsula and back. Hopefully they find a way to be more eco-friendly soon!

Mega fun experience to cross your car or bike across the bay. Super cheap also to cross, leaves you with wanting to do it again, and again.

Experience the ferry here for the first time, it's great! A ferry can carry three cars and some pedestrians or bicycles. The sailing time is about 10 minutes, and the children are very happy. A car + two adults and two children, a total of 5 dollars one way.

Easy, fast, cheap and very well attended by very young people.students working on their school breaks doing their job with a lot of responsibility. I love it.

It is enjoyable and pleasant to cross the ferry and watch both sides of it, albeit briefly.

There is a BBQ place on this boardwalk called Balboa BBQ! That has the ABSOLUTE BEST HOT DOG AND BUN THAT I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE. (Picture included)
I have never had a Hot Dog that tasted like that ever! I was visiting from N. Y.and it Blew My fiance and I away. TRUST ME!
