Ballast Point Brewing Miramar, San Diego CA

What a great experience. VIP tour of the Brewery and food pairing at the Miramar location was fabulous! Chef Chuey was fantastic, explaining each course and how it paired with the beers selected. This was not their normal menu, it was so unique, created just for us! Our server Sho! Was also 5 star!

Expansive brewery and eatery with great beer and food selection. The brewing equipment is in plain view, the decor is pleasingly modern and with clean lines and sustainable materials. Good place for events.

I guess you can consider the chicken sandwich wars over, because this is literally the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had. Ballast knows what they are doing here. Beyond this masterpiece on a bun, the beer is wonderful and the staff amazing.

Really great Spot to Take Beer Lover. Really great atmosphere and drinks. Downside is the wasn't to much to eat. Options very limited but I will say all the food was amazing. Some plates could have been a little better but overall I give them a 4 star because it's just a little bit missing before hitting the Michelin tere

Perfect place to spend the evening with your family and friends. Plenty of options to choose from and food are really tasty. They offer a range of locally crafted beer and other drinks. Plenty of space inside and outside for small gathering or get together. Ambience was beyond my expectations. You should definitely try this one, won't be disappointed for sure.

Great as always and on the way out we ran into Jorge who works in the brewery. He let us take a picture and told my uncle in from NYC and I all about BP. Really an incredible guy and a great ambassador to BP. Awesome time as always!

Always a good experience. Service is great, food is on point, and their beer is excellent. Love the pretzel bites, pork pie, and burger are great choices. A lot of space, fantastic patio, and good bar.

Beers are hit and miss. Some are great, others shouldn't be called "beer".
Service is different: you can only order via QR code in your phone. The bartenders and waiters will not take an order from you. It all feels very corporate.

I'm not much of a beer drinker, but their burger is consistently one of the best I've ever had.
Tuesday trivia night is fun, even if we didn't win. (The burger makes it worth it,)
Also super easy/convenient to order from your table using the phone.

I came here with friends who were in town. I had a bad experience. They somehow forgot my order or it was lost in the system. You order through a website on your phone and I showed my waiter my phone and he said he didn't know that I had ordered it but he acknowledged that I did order food since he can see the proof on my phone. I got my food after all my friends had already finished their food.

We were seated right away and then left at the table with no service. Waited for just under half an hour and left. The place wasn't even that busy.

I do not like the touchless QR code method of ordering and having to create an account, the staff is not very tentative to the point I sit with and empty glass, food waiting for a box, and I desire not to leave a tip.this is sad since I come to the area every so often for a delivery, maybe I will try the other Brewery on the next trip. Staff very nice, just out of touch for service industry

Food is okay, good priced though. They have a small menu, the kids menu is pretty good though. Beers are phenomenal, do yourself a favor and try a flight of 4 for $10, there are too many good beers here!

Skip the dinner. Food is mainly greasy. Had cauliflower, overdone with sriracha. Couldn’t taste anything else. Ahi nachos drowning in mayo. Chips with salsa very bland. No taste. Overall expensive. Even charge for using QR code app menu! Automatic tip is also added. Won’t be back

The wings were great and the BP Burger was okay; it lacked any condiments. The open environment was great. They have a huge selection of beers and the ten plus that I tried were all great with great prices. The waiters were helpful and friendly. There was a wait time on friday so I'd try to make a reservation.

Went for a group function. Huge space! No problem with socially distancing️ large outdoor area too. Food was pretty darn good (we had heavy appetizers including: cheese/meat/pickled goodies, pretzel rolls w/awesome beer cheese, poke', pizza, chips & salsa, two types of fries-regular and waffle). TV's, shuffle board and appeared to be fully staffed. Overall great experience. Just wish it was closer to our home!

Good food. VERY BAD service.very bad. 15 minutes to get a refill on soda.had to go find someone to be able to order food.
NEVER will we go again.

I am surprised to see so many great reviews for this location. My fish tacos were overcooked and really dry and the wings were a bit undercooked. Overall, not a great eating experience. The restaurant itself was very nice and the servers were lovely as well. Hubby also enjoyed his beer.
