Bamboo Garden Chinese Restaurant, Twentynine Palms CA

The food is great. I went in there hoping it at least just "good for 29 Palms" but it was honestly really really good food for anywhere. The only knock I have is that the shrimp dishes had a really fishy taste to it, but 29 Palms isn't close to the ocean so I get it. Everything else was awesome. I wish I remembered the waitresses name so could give her a shout out by name. She was very attentive and made sure we had a great dining experience.

Szechuan beef, Kung pao chicken, orange chicken, and honey walnut shrimp were all pretty tasty dishes. I've had better, but overall the flavors were still good. The portions probably a bit small especially the honey walnut shrimp. I'll be back so it's good enough

Vegan Chinese food is on point! We love this place when we are in the area. The Kung Pao tofu + Szechuan veggies are a go-to.

I actually had hair in my food.they didn't take the plate back to remake it. They just took the little bit with hair in it back to the kitchen. That was.
They were very nice. The inside was rundown like most of 29.
The noodles weren't very good and neither was the Thai tea (noodles were soggy and tea was mostly sugar/milk) The rest of our food was really good though. If I go back I'd definitely be checking my food thoroughly for hair and not ordering chow maine again.

Very good food and friendly service. Liked the dishes we ordered, especially the egg food young, which was prepared significantly differently than what I'm used to. Service was decent. I prefer all orders to arrive at the same time, which did not happen in our case. In addition, one item was wrong. Also, they seem to love breaded and fried menu items, asd the batter is very thick.

In cold night before Thanksgiving, I found a good place to sit and enjoy hot and delicious Chinese food. The food is good and the price is way cheaper than LA or SF bay area. Definitely Recommend.

Best Chinese place in 29 palms. You can get one dish and it can be 2 different meals because of how big the serving is. The price is extremely affordable for the amount of food that you get. Love the owner she’s so nice and sometimes throw in free soup with our order. Will be coming back for more

First time eating here, the ladies were so fun and friendly. The food was BOMB, so much food for 1 dude. Hella leftovers looking forward to round 2.3 … & 4

If I could give this restaurant a good review I would nut we have been swindled by they restaurant.the mushu was 90 percent veggies an 10 percent meat that is not mush. When we called they told that if nothing is wrong it they will not refund our I know it's a small town, but you should not be able to get over on people serving unbalanced good. They just lost a customer

Got a large order and now my whole family is vomiting throughout the night. Tasted like the food was cooked in old oil or something.

Great lunch combination meal for a reasonable price. Had the Singapore curry with rice noodles. Could have been hotter for me.

The food WAS NOT worth its price or the 40 minute wait. I didn’t know beef could possibly be so bland until I ordered the beef fried rice here. The food was extremely underwhelming considering 2 items ended up costing about $30. If you value your time and money I highly advise you go somewhere else.

Best Chinese food restaurants in town. It's not cheap but I've enjoyed everything I've gotten here. But I don't like the tip option, feels like I get a dirty look if I don't tip even for carry-out.

We have given this place a few chances. Today was the breaking point. No A/C, no curtains to block the scorching sun, waitress forgot half of our food, never checked on us when we ran out of water. We had to seek her out for the boxes and check. Never apologized or anything. Not worth it. Also, there are leaves and feathers coming out of some of the AC vents. Gross. I'm honestly not sure how they are still in business.
