Banfield Pet Hospital reviews
16We had our dog spayed here and all went well. The only issue I have is that when I called to ask the cost I was told it was about $500 but the actual cost we paid was closer to $800. There were no issues or anything that added to the cost. We weren't concerned that much because we wanted to go here anyway but it would have been nice to have a more accurate number.
I arrived with my 10week old Pup for his first set of shots, without an appointment, and still received fast service. I had to wait an hour, which wasn't unreasonable, given I didn't have an appointment, Dr. Palmer was great, and all the ladies in reception were wonderful and very helpful.
Escondido banfield was so kind, caring and communicative! I was referred here to consult with Dr. Azad for spay and tacking for my 5 month old GSD because my dogs main location does not perform tacking for bloat. I cannot thank this location enough. I am a nurse, and communication is very important to me. I appreciate their patience and call backs with answers to my concerns that I had. I want to especially thank Bianca. You are an amazing asset to Escondido Banfield and I am so lucky to have spoken to you regarding my issues given I do not live locally to that area! I will not forget your kindness. I appreciate you so very much.
Love Dr. Sarafin! I have a frenchie with bad environmental allergies and she's been the only veterinarian who's been able to give my Zeusy some relief!
Adam and his team attended my Sister n i with arms wide open, we went in to place Bandit our 12year husky to sleep due to a bone disease. It is the hardest feelin to experience, but they (staff) were there all the way. Thank you Berry, I am eternally grateful to y’all.
Outstanding experience at Banfield with our new Mastiff puppy. Caring staff, experienced vets and a great wellness plan which we are on. Nothing but positives!
Super friendly and accommodating staff! I'm not exactly wealthy, so I appreciated how they broke down the price of everything and gave me options for things I didn't immediately need. Highly recommend them for you and your furry companion.
Absolutely the BEST Veterinarian Hospital i have ever accidentally stumbled upon.
Prices can be overwhelming with other Hospitals or Private Veterinarian's

I'd say this is literally the best concept for affordable and superior quality care for your non-human loved ones seeking medical care!
If you ever have a situation where your pet needs to go to heaven as with my situation, the care given of your loved one and you of course is superb.
Sorrento Valley Pet Cemetery & Crematory is affordable and you'll receive your loved one in a beautiful bamboo box with Lockett and ceramic paw cast in a beautiful bag with information with his ashes with his paw print on the card as well.
I was amazed with the level of care
I cried, knowing my little pup was truly cared for upon is final moments.
Have a Blessed life

They are charging a wellness plan when they haven't seen my pet but once.
(2020 I took him for check up and said all was good when the pet was peeing blood). At this point i took him to a different veterinary they had to do surgery.) at this point he was enrolled on a wellness plan.been trying top cancelled and stop payments they keep taking it out every moth and now they renew with out me allowing to cancelled.every time i try cancelling they transfer the call and not one parson is allowed to help; sometime they just cut the call and i have to go back and call again hold for 30-40 min and they just keep going on circles.
If was allowed to give them 0 stars that is what they deserved as corporation and a people helping at local hospital.
Awesome people. They treat me and my pups like royalty. Special thanks to TJ for the thorough recap of Roxie's visit.
Staff are outstanding, fast, and very helpful. The best veterinary experience I've had.
For years they've taken wonderful care of my Fuzzy Bear. He hated going to the vet; was a cranky mean old man when he was there, but they were so patient & kind. We had to let him go last week, and the care and compassion they provided throughout the process was stunning.
Dr Azad cares about his patients and their families. I can’t begin to say enough about him and his staff. We have many more happy years with Baxter because of them. You guys are wonderful, Thank you!
Wonderful experience, professional, and great customer service. Rekha was the VA who helped me find same day appointment for an urgent health issue for my cat, and then helped me in office. Dr. Serafin was the DVM who helped my cat. She explained the care plan and made sure all steps of care and the cost was understood. Thank you Banfield staff for your professionalism, support, and welcoming environment.
I specifically asked at drop off that they please be careful not to cut my dog's nails too short, her nails are all black and would be sedated already for her dental cleaning.
When I picked her up, the majority (!) of her nails had been cut way past the quick and needed powder to stop bleeding. I understand this totally happens.but after one or two, I had hoped the person would have the presence of mind to stop cutting so short.
The manager kindly called me after the next day check in and we had a calm conversation, but I was disappointed she took no accountability and suggested I request a dremel next time. As if the fact all of my dog's nails had been bleeding was because of her dog personality? While she was sedated? My dog is ok, but that's not the point. I specifically asked to be careful, and got the exact opposite.
Have a hard time making appointments, I’m always put on hold and then forgotten about or hung up on. What good is the wellness plan if I can’t get service, Escondido Banfield is not a service friendly hospital for your pet.
