Banfield Pet Hospital, Fresno CA

The people that work here were helpful. Unfortunately, Banfield's Wellness Plan seems to have predatory pricing. They tell you there is a discount on services, but after checking with local vets, Banfield charges you more for services (like x rays) than many local vets, even after the "discount". I was told that the x-rays would be a certain amount, and then after agreeing, I was told that I would also need to pay for someone to read them (while having a premium plan). This price was 3x more than a local vet right down the street. I should definitely have done more research before signing up for their plan. Oh, and if you want to cancel? Too bad, you have to pay for the whole year.

Prices are insane! They told me $89 for Canine Influenza shot because my dog would need two. Little did I know I could’ve gotten the shot at a low cost walk-in clinic for a fraction of that price $27! They do not have your best interest in mind. They just want your money. Also, it is not included in the wellness plan. Smfh!

Never bring your pet here for grooming or trimming nails! Staff treated us like second class citizens cuz we were walk ins. Then she called the manager on us cuz they don’t know how to deal with customers and couldn’t find our account. Then I started cursing up a storm and was kicked out. I fear they would hurt my puppy after that level of incompetence!

Just got my new pup with skin issues and dirty ears. (thought it was ear mites) they checked and cleaned her ears, did assessment and provided med for skin issue and got me started on the vaccines and check ups for the next year with a cheap payment plan.she is Tiny 3.5 lbs and did not cry or nothing. I feel more at ease knowing she’s been checked and treated and is happy and healthy.

The staff here is kind and thorough. They answer all our questions, confirm appointments in advance, and also follow up afterwards to make sure our pets are doing okay since their visit. We have two cats and this team has been amazing! That includes the doctors, nurses, and front office staff. Keep up the good work!

Good service extremly kind and caring staff love these very professional veterinarians and vet techs.

Dog went in for checkup, quick registration and a 15 minute wait time. In and out in 1.50 hours. Vet was informative about the services they offer, will return when I need a weekend appointment in a pinch.

I always have a wonderful experience and my kitten is well looked after. They're care packages are very affordable and will work with you with any situation. Cannot ask for more.

BEWARE bringing your pet to this pet hospital! I've made numerous complaints to cooperate in regards to the staff and veterinarians being rude and unprofessional as well as performing tests on my dog I did not authorize in the six years I've had them care for my pet. Since then it seems they've always suggested dropping my pet off and leaving her basically so they can charge you daycare for an entire day. Well it seems like every time my dog comes home from their hospital she comes out sick and vomiting. She didn't go in sick and vomiting she went in for incontinence or shots (shots never made her sick at her other vet she had prior mind you) so why is she getting sick in their hospital upon coming home? I DO NOT trust these people they are very cold towards the animals and really only care about the money and it shows with the way they interact with the other animals. I feel they are either not properly sanitizing the kennels appropriately or maybe doing something to her purposely to get back at me for complaining or to get more money. DO NOT trust this veterinarian clinic with your fur babies! There are other vet clinics in the surrounding area that are a cleaner and a much safer option for your pet.

My dogs love the Doctors and wonderful staff, the girls are awesome. Quick check-in and convenient hrs.

They have taken care of our dogs for almost 10 years and their insurance is good for our animals

They are always so nice to me and my dog! They are willing to answer every question I had and they were super nice to my dog who was a little freaked out the first time! Can't recommend enough!

My pet was given the attention she needed post surgery so I quit and went back to my former vet where she was immediately put on 2 different antibiotics, pain medication and all teeth but her 2 fangs were pulled. She us healthy and the happiest little kitty ever now.

Took a residents pet in for a exam and nail clipping. Very pleased with the level of care and how quickly they accessed the reason for the visit and got us out in an hour.
