Very nice and helpful, quick as well.

Only thing is dang is it expensive, especially when they try to throw random stuff into the visit.
Ended up spending almost $100 on ear cleaning for two cats

Anyways, I still be coming here anyways

Great staff, finally found staff that would thoroughly explain things to me. All my experiences have been good until the most resent one where my cat was given medication too high for his weight. Just keep an eye on that as I don't know yet what caused the mistake.

All this place wants is money! Had a puppy that was one-year-old and they pulled 10 teeth. We came back about a year later simply because they were easy to make appointments through. So this being our second visit we brought two of our puppies in there for a simple teeth cleaning. Both 5 lb. One is two years old and the other is three. They put them both under anesthesia. The 3-year-old they said needed four teeth pulled because they were loose. We never noticed any issues at home and brush their teeth once a week so I thought that was weird. After the procedure on the 2-year-old they said it all went well. Tried to wake him up. He was dead. Attempted CPR with negative results. They killed my puppy. My guess is overdose on anesthesia. How are they not monitoring his heart and everything the whole time? We will be investigating this office. 10/10 do NOT recommend
After this incident a close friend hit me up and said this happened to him with his dog not waking up at the Davis location. As well as very bad service at the Vacaville one too.
I recommend you see Davis vet hospital. Do your research before you drop your fur babies off anywhere people!

This place won't respect your wishes regarding your pets while in their care, and will keep them for the entire day when they've promised a short stay. My cat is traumatized and my day was ruined for something that could and should have taken 15 minutes.

The staff is friendly and know what they are doing. I am using them to get my dogs ready to move to New Zealand so will update this review with success at that time.

So this is not specifically for this location but rather for all locations. Every time something was wrong with my dog, banfield front desk would tell me three scenarios about their docs 1) doc is in surgery she’s busy 2) short staffed 3) our doctor is sick
And it almost seems like they all say the same thing to me every time i need appointments. Ive noticed banfield is not what it was 3 years ago. One day I was speaking to a doctor in the lobby and the front staff over the phone told the pet owner that doc is in surgery and is not appropriate to bother them in the middle of their surgery but the doc was just speaking to me and visiting other patients. Even though i spend $80 a month but i cannot have my pet see a provider. We see vet techs. I wish i didnt have to say this but banfield has turned their good vet hospital into a business. On top of $80 i pay monthly, i still have to pay other vets due to unavailability of time and inflexibility of staff for squeezing patients in. I spent 30 mins begging front desk today at Davis but the front staff refused to ask Dr. Christenson if she can see my dog. She said Dr. Christenson is sick today and even if someone cancels Im not gonna put my staff and the doctor through another patient and call you to come in. If seeing a provider at this point turns into begging, i think it should be evaluated. I used to enjoy talking to front staff and doctors at banfield but ever since covid, i get headaches when I speak to the front staff. Their system should go back to where it was before 2020.
I can’t have a set banfield, we are constantly jumping around the area to find a good banfield but at this point non exists.

Great service and a great care plan for your pet only complaint is that it doesn't cover accidents but you can pay neuter in payments and with care plan your pets needs are paid for immediately not have to wait for your insurance to reimburse you which is great and it's not really a hospital more like a clinic

We have lived all over the country, so banfield has been the best option for us. Davis and Vacaville have been the most kind and patient facilities. Our pets have always received top-notch care. When we have emergencies, we are scheduled as quickly as possible. We had to put one of our animals down, and they treated all of us with so much grace and care we will likely never go elsewhere.

To second what someone else said, this is by far the best vet I’ve ever been to. They truly care about animals. I took my 10 year old cat (KiKi) here when she started losing weight and eating/urinating more frequently. The techs, Vera and (not sure other techs name) were so gentle with her when they did her blood draw and helped put my girl at ease. Dr. Garvin was also very caring and helpful. He took his time to explain her diagnosis to me. Even the staff working the front desk were kind and patient. Their pricing was also extremely reasonable. I am so happy I took her to Banfield Animal Hospital in Davis. Highly recommend!

Everyone here is so friendly but it might be because everyone is working with animals. Animals bring us so much joy.

I can tell that vet hospital staff appear to be happier and more relaxed than human medical professionals.
