Banh Cuon Tay Ho 4 reviews
15Very Very bad customer service. The lady (owner) was very rude when I pointed at my dish that there was an eyelashes and told her to be more extra careful. She looked at it & shake her head & turned away without saying a word! Until I came to the cashier asking a guy who the owner is. He pointed at her and asked me why? I told him what happened. She then started to scream and said she was shaking her head because of how disappointed at her employees! What a nonsense excuses! I understand mistakes everywhere but how her reacts was unacceptable. Not even an apology. Never come back here again! Good luck on your business.
Not bad food. My wife seemed to be unimpressed concerning service. Noticed we were not given refill of water even after completing my water. We were the lone patrons seated as well after two seated tables left after the order waiter took our order.
For me the food is fair. Banh cuon original mixed of rice flour but this one mix of cornstarch flour. Cake too soft and kind of yellow looks.
This is a typical Vietnamese restaurant in the Little Saigon which has a restaurant on every corner. The food is ok and their Banh Cuon Dac Biet is their signature. It basically has a little bit of everything. The restaurant is quite clean and well organized. The parking is a shared parking lot with other popular business so it might be tough to get a parking spot.
I just order bún riêu ốc It was horrible
Ốc snail it wast cook smell so fishy and when I told them the young guy just ignore like he didnt care. Horrible place never come back again.
Apparently there are multiple Tay Ho restaurants in the area, but #4 is the best one. Bánh cuốn is very delicious; fish sauce is really good. I don't really know what is the different between the two bánh cuốn dishes tho. The noodle bowl is good as well. Also recommend vnese coffee here.
The portions have gotten smaller since years ago, before covid
but still the best banh cuon around bolsa area
Food is absolutely amazing. Although it may look a little shabby, the is welcoming and flavourful.
I alway came here to eat when I’m in California. The food is always good and very friendly service
Good food and good sauce but like all the restaurants they took advantage of Covid-19 Era to raise up the price to 50% average (from $8 to $14)
They have 3 vegan / chay options that are equally delicious as their special. I got the chay special that comes with minced mushroom filling, fried tofu, mung bean cake, and their specialty - the crispy sweet potato tempura! Vegans and vegetarians get their own alternative sauce instead of fish sauce that is very tasty and is full of umami too. At $11 for a full plate, it’s a great place to eat with vegan and non-vegans together.
My mom and I are regulars here, we have gone here soo many times that the owners and waiters know us! Although this is beside the point!
This is one of my go to spots that I do not mind splurging on because you get so much for your money!
I have introduced my non-viet friends to this place whenever they want to eat but not feeling "too hungry" and they feel in love with it! The good thing about Viet food is it always feels light! You can go about your day afterwards!
Anyways, I always order the number one combo plate that gives you so much goodness in one plate.
It comes with ban cuon (rice paper), fried battered shrimp, cha lua (idk the translation, but its pork meat, I think). My mom and I always order extra fried shrimp and ban cuon along with a side of lettuce so we can make wraps! The dipping sauce they provide goes perfectly with their entire menu!
Come in an support a family owned business! Cuz you'll walk out with alot of dopamine in your system, not to mention you'll be full without the food coma.
Delicious traditional banh cuon. Great friendly service. Quick & easy pick up for to go.
My Wife aske me to come back to give it another try and we did it, this time the waiters were more helpful and friendlier, food are better too, so I would change the rating to 4 stars.
