Bank of America Financial Center reviews
10Came in to change my last name on my account and they said I had to make an appointment and talk to a banker. Made an appointment and came back. I have been waiting 30 mins (past my appointment time) and no sign of help.
Thus bank never have enough staff so it’s all ways a long waiting in line for 25 mins so disappointed. Staff more people at you banks please.
I recently received a stimulus check from the state. It came in the mail on a Saturday and my bank is closed on Saturday. But I really needed the money. But Bank of America won't cash a check unless you have an account with them. Even a check drawn on the Ca State Treasury. So I'm guessing they probably wouldn't cash one from the IRS unless I had an account which contradicts what I've read about cashing checks from the IRS. Not one time have I ever had a positive experience with this bank and branch. My very reason for not banking here.
5 banking stations 2 bankers on a Friday with a line of over 10 people. While 3 other “manager type “ stand around.
Always a long line, like 15-25 minutes. Never enough tellers. Manager is slipping hard, very frustrating
The phone number doesn't even work! I lost my wallet and this isn't helping this is ridiculous. There's no ring or any noise on the other line.
Yes, the lines are long and yes they seem to be understaffed on some days but customer service has always been exceptional in my experience. The tellers are always nice and helpful and friendly.
They do close on some random days without leaving a notice of why they closed and that’s why I am taking a couple of stars.
They keep cutting the hours difficult to get in-person help. On the plus side they have very user-friendly website and they do not charge for personal checks; Wells Fargo wanted to charge me for those.
Closed again. No reason given. Shrinking hours, shrinking locations. From downtown Ventura I may as well open an account in Carpinteria.
