Bank of the Sierra reviews
5The staff and service here at the kings canyon and clovis branch are more than professional. Fast and friendly service from tellers and managers that treat every customer with intelligence and respect. I bank no where else. Everyone here deserves the recognition of providing excellent customer service. Thank you BOS staff. You are truly appreciated.
I am a disabled man with mobility issues and no transportation. I received my Golden State Stimulus check and knowing there was a Bank of the Sierra in my neighborhood I took my time and walked there (it was 100 degrees outside). I took my ID and everything I needed and the Bank refused to cash my check for me. In fact, the teller was pretty rude. I just said ok, thank you and walked back home. Now I have a $600 check, not much food, not much to drink in this heat. So yeah. Thanks, Bank of the Sierra. When I was a kid banks cashed checks.
A bank is a bank. Not a whole lot of excitement to write about, but we did have such a great experience banking here that I had to write about it. Or, I should say, we had no negative experiences here. We banked at larger banks in the past and were having issues, especially when we first got married and had very little money! The larger banks would put holds on our checks and make it difficult for us. We switched to another large bank and we had issues with our debit card being compromised, a lot! They would just put a hold on our debit cards and send us new ones without any notice. Then we walked into Bank of the Sierra because it was in our neighborhood. It was so easy and we got to know the staff at our branch. The crazy thing is that they make the total amount of the check you deposit available immediately. Imagine that, you can use all of your money right away, if you want. We have had zero cases of needing new debit cards. We moved out of state 4 years ago and kept our accounts open here because we have had no issues. We recently did close the accounts and opened new ones at a local credit union where we currently live. This is only because we are handling more cash now and we needed a branch to deposit cash. Farewell, Bank of the Sierra. You have been very good to us and we appreciate you very much.
I go to many different banks for my job, and this is by far the best bank I've been to. I've walked in and seen employees working in the back, they stop and open up to help me.
Bank teller and bank manager would not want to help me. They were rude and went as far as telling me that they will help other customers first because they did not have the time to help me even though I was first in line. They even went as far as referring me to go to another bank across the street EECU. I told them that the reason why I opened a account here was that they said they had plenty of tellers to help out whenever I came in. They made me wait for half an hour as they were helping other people while in the middle of helping me. This bank is horrible and does not treat all customers equal. Bank teller name is Raul Rodriguez and the bank manager wore no name tag and also had a sign saying girl boss covering her name tag on the desk.
