One of my favorite places to eat! A must try for sure! A variety of southern style dishes to choose from! The staff are so nice and ready to help you. The owner Dave is the chef and he puts his heart and soul into the cooking. Check them out!

The food is alway solid here, been going since 2015. My usual is the large catfish dinner, which comes with 5 huge pieces of fish and two sides. I add a third sided, because a mans gotta get his grub on LOL!

If you’re looking for delicious soul food, look no further. As a matter of fact run here, because the food goes fast. It’s that good!

The chicken had such a bad taste in my mouth, it was BAD, also, I’m upset because they don’t give forks or any napkins in your online orders…. So if your ordering from work, don’t even bother or else you’ll be eating with your hands…. BAD customer service and over hyped if you ask me

Called in a phone order for the 6 piece catfish family meal with red beans and rice and potato salad as sides with a order of peach cobbler as dessert. They quoted me 15 minutes until it was ready. Got to the store around the 15 minute mark and was told it was gonna be a little longer. No problem, the fresher the fish the better in my book. When my order came out, not more than 8 minutes past the quoted time, the counter lady apologized. They are always kind the hospitality here is top notch. Look no further for the best soul food and service in San Diego.

Service and food phenomenal. First time visitor from Denver for a lil weekend getaway. Found this spot and was soo pleased. Ordered the smothered chicken over rice with mac n cheese and yams. It was alllllll delicious. Pineapple cherry drink was bomb too. Will definitely be back and please open a spot in Denver.

I initially gave a bad review, but realized it was a grubhub issue, not the restaurant. The food was delicious and generous portion. I lived in NC 17 years. As good or better than any diner in which I ate there. Will order again. Thank you.

California vibes with southern hospitality with good ol ol ol southern home cooked meals. I had 2 fried catfish and red snapper dinner with 2 sides, which includes something to drink. The food was so excellent, the fish was not over fried with the perfect amount of seasonings. Collard greens were cooked to perfection, not too mushy but not hard either, and of courses you have the 3 options to choose from. Cornbread is both fluffy and crispy on the edges and savoring with every bite. Butter cake moist and not overly sweet. Arnold palmer drink was good also. This place is an absolute gem

I haven’t tried all of their items but what I’ve tasted, fried chicken wings and fried cabbage is delicious! The fried gizzards are delicious too! The service is excellent! The girls always greet me by name and are very friendly. The place is always clean and I know that they sometimes have entertainment but I’ve never dined in. I’ll continue to support this business because they are great! They also offer rewards for purchases.

First time and great food, had a variety of the meat and sides, not bad and authentic as it gets. Employees are nice even being close to closing time, totally would recommend them!

Love this place, quick soul food ready. Everything taste excellent. Don't mess up your kitchen just come order and eat. And Oxtails Sat& Sun.

As a southerner, raised in NC, born in FL. This place was nothing what it should have been.
Cabbage was over cooked and unflavored
Collards were undercooked and bitter, stems were crunchy like broccoli.
Macaroni was less than Kraft Mac n cheese.
Yams were not cooked thoroughly, no flavor.
Red snapper was dry.
Black eyed peas were great, needed salt and light sugar.
Peach cobbler was watery, loose and sloppy
