Banner Lassen Medical Center

Brought my wife in to ER today.and she needs help blood clot in her leg it's bad.the staff seems they no idea what they are doing.so we Just left.thier sighs in the waiting room about quality of their is not true

Staff at check in was very nice and helpful. Shane the technician was the best every very caring and patient. I'm a senior and she really made me comfortable, best experience.

The front desk people are helpful cordial they do a great job in there try to get you in and out quickly to your designated department you have to go to the only problems in making appointments is with the people that scan like bone density scans are impossible to get appointment for they never called back they always have a problem why they can't do anything but the front desk is great

I’m fairly new to the area and have heard a couple bad stories about Banner Lassen MC. I have been seen there for different reasons and have had nothing but great experiences with the staff and the care given to me at Banner.

The doctor here said that we should take our daughter to school regardless of the family testing positive for covid. "because we're not contagious even if someone tests positive. "

The doctor looks fresh out of high school; so I don't blame him, but someone should really look into what's happening here

I had to go to the er and then be hospitalized due to getting pneumonia and at first I was a little worried because I haven’t heard the best things about banner but I was so happy with my care the entire time. Every nurse who took care of me was extremely nice and caring, as well as responsive. They were always willing to help me in any way, including when I asked for any pain medicine. They also treated my husband with a lot of respect and care while he stayed with me and always made sure he was also comfortable and taken care of. I didn’t have a single bad experience with a nurse or doctor the whole time and they were very good at explaining things when I had questions. Overall I was very impressed with my care while here and definitely have a better impression of banner after my stay. Thank you!

This place in chronic pain nerve and back problems on crutches weighted 4 hours and still didn't get to see anybody they took people that were waiting in the waiting room hours less

I've had several terrible experiences at Banner Lassen ER. However yesterday I had a partial knee replacement and I have to say that the OR and surgical team was hands down, absolutely AMAZING! Dr. Reis is my surgeon and he is a total ROCK STAR! Dr. Reis and his team were so caring and compassionate! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Waiting an hour to check in is not acceptable. Xray dept is walk in.but having to check in with registration is inefficiently staffed.
& slow even after finally called.

It is shameful that they can charge whatever they like so you feel you literally cannot afford health care. It is absolute exploitation when you get a bill months later for triple what you were told at the Emergency Room and then ONE YEAR later receive a reimbursement for 10%. Total incompetence in the billing department and health-for-profit. They represent everything that is wrong with American health care.

Edited to Add: After being told to contact customer service, I've wasted time going back and forth explaining my story only to have them justify why their process works this way. It's a total rip off and there is nothing you can do about it. NEVER use Banner Lassen!

I rate this place no stars. A safe place for care? I’ll bet that nurse was thinking that slogan when she stomped on my arm. I was seen tonight and there was mud and blood on the floor as well as a blood-filled IV catheter next to the bed. They weren’t mine. If you can go ANYWHERE else, even a VET, do so because Banner is the most UNSAFE hospital I’ve ever seen. Someone needs to look into this!

This is the worst hospital that I've ever been to I went in to have my son seen because he is sick they do a test for RSV told me it's going to be a little bit of a wait so I waited someone else came in with a slip and fall they took that person before my son and then tell me that basically a slip and fall is more important than a child that is sick that might have RSV keep in mind RSV can kill a child and then tell me that I have to wait until the night doctor comes on at 7: 00 p.m. Mind you it's already 6: 00 so basically this hospital would rather see a sick child suffer longer than someone who was an adult that had a slip and fall then they try to diagnose my son in the waiting room this hospital does not care about children or babies

Worst hospital or "medical center" ive ever been too. Couldn't even see my x rays and isat in the waiting room for 3 hours

I arrived in a worried and in pain.
That was yesterday. Today I'm home with my family.
What a great bunch of people, that took care of me with the up most of respect.
