Good Cafe food with plenty selection of Indian vegetarian snacks and sweets. Clean restrooms and well maintained sitting arrangements. Plenty parking spaces. Good customer service. Jai Swami Narayan!

This cafe is on Indian temple premises. This place servers freshly made food from a short menu. Variety of snacks are available for purchase.

Great store to shop for a wide variety of Indian snacks. It’s all vegetarian store. They have all kinds of sweets like kaju katri, peda, pak, and many others made of milk, nuts, sugar and jaggery. They have savory snacks that are usually consumed during festivals or even during fast. They also have a cafe serving fresh food like samosa, dabeli, poori and sabji, dosa, thali and much more. Definitely visit this when you visit the temple which is a wonder of its own kind!

Best place to buy quality Indian sweets and savouries in California. It is part of the BAPS complex, and food has good quality and reasonable price.

We had the Gujarati Thali lunch. The dal was on the sweeter side. The Sweet tasted funky like it was going bad. Roti was dry.

We also purchased a few snacks that were good.

Food is delicious - variety is mind blowing!

Service is TERRIBLE - this disgruntled guy named Subash was kicking my dad off the table - mind you my dad is disabled and he was just sitting in his walker, a nice man from a table offered him a chair to sit @ an empty table. He asked my dad to get up and why I asked why he then proceeded to threaten to call security which he did. The guests and even the workers there empathized with my dad’s condition and offered him a chair. How ridiculous is this…he then touted that he was “in charge” of the area - how shameful if you ask me. These are the people that give these wonderful places a bad name!

First, I love Indian cuisine. When I was transitioning from meat eating diet to non meat eating diet, Indian vegetarian food helped me a lot with the savory craving.

My first experience with vegetarian Indian food was in Vallejo, CA. Vaishnu vegetarian Cafe. ️️ It is closed now. Maybe the owner is too old to manage. Sad. Everyone in my family loved that place! So my Indian vegetarian experience ever since will always be biasedly compared to the taste I acquired from that place.

Hahaha. Ok.

BAPS Shayona Cafe is not that bad. It has a lot of Indian food and desserts. Having learned how to make many of them myself (Vaishnu inspired), I bought a few and didn't really enjoy them much. There are A lot of deep fried foods.

The roasted poha is good, but is a little bit spicy.

I've been here a few occasions and always wanted to try the thaali ($10,5 items meal). The picture looks good. Apparently, it is only offered Thursday through Sunday, according to the staff. It can be busy on weekends, so get ready for long lines.

For the thaali:

Big portion of plain basmati rice, good old rice without cumin.

A piece of Kopra paak (I don't like this one because the coconut is dry. I bought a whole container once, and it has a weird fat smell. I don't know what it is),

sambar, medium thin consistency and has a hint of either tofu or coconut milk resembling Vietnamese vegetarian Curry soup. It is on a sweeter side to me. Has a piece of curry leaf floating.three roti, kind of transparent. I don't like them.and the main dish. It is like veggie korma without the yogurt. It has paneer cubes, beans, peas, bell peppers. It's not bad.

I would recommend to check the cafe out.

And they accept credit cards! ️

A very good spot for the combination of spiritual and sattvik diet. You gonna feel peace inside the temple and enjoy the unbelievable structural beauty.

Great place great food. All prasadams for the devotees. Delicious food mostly North Indian. But you get Pizzas too.
They serve lassi and tea only.
There is a North Indian savories store selling packeted ready made namkeens etc.
One has the choice to eat in or perch yourself out in the lawn enjoying the sunshine
We went into the holy shrine with exquisitely carved divine deities exuding the divine radiance in a quiet ambiance well suited to meditation in front of Sri Krishna and Lord Sri Ram with ma Sita & sri Anjaneya
I have been here for the first time today but surely will go again

I love Indian food, although I don't have a buffet, I could see the number of people who were in line to be served, I bought these two products which have discretion in English. I had the service and recommendation of an employee who helped me choose. If you're in the temple, it's worth stopping at the market that's still next door, which has a souvenir shop, books, incense, and more.

Good vegetarian food and deserts. All kinds of Indian snacks are available here. Loved their authentic vegetarian thali which is pretty simple yet very tasty. Decent number of tables are available to eat food after Darshan. Indian sweets and yummy deserts like Shri Kand are available here. The menu is however very limited though.
